A trip to remember.
After climbing indoors for a few months I thought I would take the next step and venture to the outdoors with trip away with KooKoo climb.

After discussing my needs, wants for the trip and my level of climbing with KooKoo climb I was recommenced to join for a trip to Costa Blanca and it did not disappoint.

Having this experience has changed my perception and knowledge of what climbing outdoors entails. After this I have fallen in love with climbing outdoors and I already plan to go back to climb in Spain.
Feeling completely supported by our guide Mara, not only did I push myself beyond what I thought was my level of ability but I have began to build confidence and have learned new skills which I can now take with me in future climbs.

We began the trip we a few warm up climbs on the first day to get a feeling of the rock.
Throughout the week we visited many different locations. Starting early we were provided delicious fresh food prepared by a lovely local ladyJessica( who should have a recipe book published)She packed us full of smoothies, grains and cake for breakfast. Along with this we had a lunch prepared for each day. And my god wee needed it!!
At the start of the week we sat and discussed our plan so that everyone has a say on what we wanted to do on the trip. We climbed in various places in the local areas, all bolted, everything felt very safe. Huge options when it came to looking for places to climb… my only complaint.. I wasn’t there long enough.

The plan Mara has set slowly built up our levels of climbing- my favourite being rappelling into a sea cave and then climbing back out. Challenging, mentally and physically, however I had the biggest smile on my face when I finished and saw the sun setting over the sea.
I was surround by a group of wonderful people, we all shared special moments of laughter, fear and tears(myself) whilst being in the nature, climbing in spectacular places. Everything about the trip was memorable, what else could you ask for.

Thanks to KooKoo climb for organising an epic trip in Costa Blanca,Spain!! There were so many sport climbing crags to choose from with mixture of leading and seconding as suited, the guides found some in shade even in June the warm months it was possible to climb most of the day.
One day of climbing in a costal sea cave was really incredible, and the multipitch on Pechon Il Fach was spectacular!! Food by cook Yessica and the accommodation in Abdet great too 👍💪🙏

KooKoo Climb organised a fantastic weekend in Margalef, two days in the middle of nature and climbing in spectacular places.
They organised the activities and accommodation perfectly, giving us a unique and unforgettable experience!
I will definitely participate in more of their trips.

I really enjoyed my climbing experience in El Choro, Spain. Although I was a client I felt like I was climbing with my friends. The atmosphere was very relaxing and easygoing.

This was my first time climbing and we did two days in Margalef with Xavi guiding us. I learnt a lot in these two days and Xavi helped to push me through my fear and really increase my confidence. He was always there to support but he was very good at helping you to feel you could trust yourself and you knew what you were doing. A really amazing instructor, I can't wait for the next trip!
