Ever since I first connected with Laine, I was struck by how intentional and thoughtful she was from the start. She truly makes you feel seen, which is a beautiful gift that not many people have. I was so excited to work with her at a recent wedding and noticed how she went above and beyond for our mutual clients and was truly just kicking ass all weekend. She also made sure I felt included and up to date on all of the details leading up to the wedding and actually cared about MY role in the day vs. only paying attention to the part she is technically in charge of. As a photographer, I have felt like planners are on opposing teams at times and this was such a refreshing approach which in the end, benefits the couple. I highly recommend Laine to anyone in Minnesota or even anywhere else 🙂

If you ever have the opportunity to work with Laine—TAKE IT!! We came to her ~18 months prior to our wedding date with rough concepts and ideas for our wedding weekend and she was able to bring them to life in ways we hadn’t even imagined. We chose the Full Planning Package and are so glad we did. From the first vision to the day after our wedding Laine made the whole process smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. She was so knowledgeable and was more than just a planner—her eye for design was clearly evident from day 1; the vibe and aesthetic she created for our day was immaculate. Laine was thorough, attentive, and supportive. Our guests were astonished at the spaces she created on our lake property. I cannot rave enough about Laine—she coordinated with the vendors so seamlessly and took all the stress off our plate so we could truly be present and soak in our perfect day. Laine was calm, cool, and collected throughout our entire experience and we will forever be grateful for her talent in creating the best day of our lives.

Over the last year we worked with Laine on our daughters wedding. She was fantastic! Any time we had a question she was there with a answer. She made us feel at ease every step of the way. We were looking for a day of coordinator, but we ended up hiring Laine for partial planning services. It was the best investment ever! The wedding was fantastic! We couldn't have done it without her. Any time we needed a recommendation, she was all over it. She keep us on schedule. It was a worry free wedding! I would hire her again in a minute!

Laine did a fantastic job with our June 2024 wedding! She made the whole planning process as stress-free as possible and made sure our wedding day went absolutely perfect!

When we starting planning the wedding it was overwhelming, but once we found Laine she helped us get everything organized. She really took the time to get to know us and met with us many times even way before the wedding so that we could get things in order so that we felt comfortable. I always was able to trust that I wasn't missing or forgetting anything because I knew Laine had it handled!

We did her partial planning package and it was exactly what we needed! She has a fantastic eye for design and was beyond invaluable in helping us choose everything from wedding colors to cutlery. We wanted a modern, elegant wedding and Laine created that perfectly! Her ideas were inspired by what we wanted but she was able to help us find creative ways to achieve our vision even beyond what we expected! We were so thrilled with how everything turned out on the day of the wedding 🙂

She also has such great connections with vendors and knew exactly who to recommend based on what we wanted. We loved all our vendors! Laine was able to recommend people who were not only amazing at their jobs, but also were so fun to work with! It can be hard to choose from so many options, so having Laine give us a shortlist based on her knowledge and experience was an absolute blessing.

Overall we HIGHLY recommend working with Laine if you ever have the chance to!

It’s impossible to say enough about Laine and her expertise, skill and day-of-event presence as a wedding/event planner. She was hired to plan our daughter’s wedding in Minneapolis. We live in Wisconsin and the bride-to-be was living on the East Coast. Planning a wedding from a distance was a daunting task, but Laine made it not only easy for us, but a joyful and stress-free process as well. In the months and days prior to the wedding, so many people commented on how busy and/or stressed I must be. Quite the contrary! I was full of anticipation and eager to see it all come together. From the moment we arrived at the venue to get ready and do photos, to the church and then the reception and dinner, everything was perfect! That includes the rehearsal as well. Did it all go without a hitch? Of course not! No one should ever expect to avoid some hiccups on the big day. However, Laine always had everything under control and whatever wasn’t going according to plan, she had it covered. She is a consummate professional, a presence of calm in a day full of expectation and has the ability to multi-task and manage a plethora of details all while being present to those who need her at any given moment. The details were breathtaking and I was able to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our daughter and son-in-law’s special day. It was beyond our expectations and I will be forever grateful and thankful that we chose Laine as our wedding planner. Despite the length of this review, I still feel like I haven’t done justice in expressing how gifted she is.

My wedding day was a day I dreamed of since I was a little girl. It's funny, because I realize most of my childhood dreams didn't end up coming true. My wedding day was very different from how I dreamed it as a little girl, because what Laine gave me was SO much more.

As someone who struggles with anxiety, I was honestly really worried about planning my wedding. I was actually sort of dreading it... It was supposed to be something I looked forward to, but at the beginning, all I could see was the never-ending list of things that needed to be done. What's weird though, is those feelings I was so worried about experiencing, they never came. And I know for a fact, that is all thanks to Laine. She started to finish my sentences when I would explain an idea I saw on Pinterest. Any questions I would have at the beginning of a meeting would be melted away by the end as if she were somehow reading my mind. I never had to worry about one thing. Laine's ability to understand exactly what her clients want is unmatched. Her attention to detail is what got me 185044451 compliments on my wedding. I owe so much to her for making my wedding day not what I had expected, but for making my wedding something I didn't even know was possible.

On top of her extreme talent, how she treats her clients will literally melt your heart. She cares so much about what she does, and who she is doing it for, and I love getting to see how she makes each wedding so special and unique. I am so lucky I got to meet her when she planned my twin sister's wedding the year prior to mine. When I met her, we hit it off right away, she is so dang easy to get along with! Laine made planning my wedding something I LOVED and I am honestly considering getting married again, just so we can do it all over!

Laine, you are one in a million. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the hours you and your team put into my special day. I can honestly say, there is not one thing I would have changed. And thank the heavens, I now have 2 friends using Laine as a Planner after seeing what you can do, and I cannot wait to see you again at those weddings.

There are not enough words to describe the experience of working with Laine Palm Designs. Laine is an incredible human being who makes you feel important and worth her precious time with every call, email or text. Her intuition and keen eye for design is incredible. It is difficult to see the big picture when you have an idea of what your perfect day should look like, but Laine was able to pull everything together beyond what I could have ever imagined. She made every step of planning my wedding seamless and always had excellent communication. My wedding was originally in April of 2020, right when the world was shutting down due to the pandemic. Laine did not falter and did not entertain the idea of cancelling, even when it seemed like that was the best option. The time that was put in to reach out to vendors and venues to reschedule, not only for my wedding but for many brides and clients Laine works with, is unfathomable but Laine and her team pulled it off. Laine was steadfast in her support and I knew she would get us down the aisle. Laine made our day happen through everything that has been thrown our way and my husband and I are so grateful. Where do I even begin?! Laine created an event that was nothing short of legendary! From our very first meeting, she understood our vision and took it to levels we couldn't have dreamed of. Let me tell you it looked like *the* wedding of the century. Entire day felt like it came straight out of a fairytale. What really stood out was how Laine made us feel completely stress-free. She handled every curveball behind the scenes, letting us soak in every special moment without a single worry.
