We went on a RZR tour and had a blast! We checked in and filled out a little paperwork. Waited for other parties to arrive and then we were all on our way.

Be aware though, there’s no insurance coverage for the RZRs so any damages caused fall onto the renter for charges. This is told to you but take it seriously as expenses pile on quickly. Go on this tour at your own risk.

The tour itself was great, with lots of fun moments. We explored a variety of terrain types, including an area called ‘the steeps,’ which was fantastic. We enjoyed the drive and the beautiful views. We were fighting against the clock with the rainstorm that was coming in but we had a wonderful time either way.

I was thankful we were able to come here as an alternate snow mobiling vendor due to lack of snow conditions at another location in the area. We were picked up on time at the shuttle point we indicated when we registered. Once we arrived, the whole check-in process was a mess — very unorganized. They should have you fill out all necessary forms ahead of time online or on the shuttle to the place as this took almost an hour for everyone to complete and we were all jammed in the small building waiting to fill these out and pay our insurance. Definitely recommend the $35 insurance coverage as we heard they will charge your card full amount of the snow mobile if it’s damaged at all (and we definitely saw people flip and run into trees). We went on the summit trail. Our guide Garrett was awesome! He was super attentive and personable in his interactions with each individual or couple. I’d give him 5 ⭐️The sights were breathtaking. Unfortunately if you’re in a group with someone who is scared or never done this (like we were), they may go turtle pace the whole time which is a huge bummer. We never exceeded 20-25 mph which was a little unfortunate. We still had fun, but would have preferred a private tour.

They were ok. A few things bothered me. They don’t tell you in advance that you would need to rent clothes for the snow mobile trip.

The shuttle takes 1.5h each way. It’s way too much.

2 people crashed during the trip that ended up not being 2hs.

Other than that everything worked well.

Incredible experience. Brian was out guide and he was excellent. We took a private tour. There were four of us total and we had an absolute blast. Highly recommended doing this.

Phenomenal experience. We chose the 2 hr snowmobile summit tour, it was awesome. Had never ridden a snowmobile before, EVER! and yet with the tutorial before going out, I felt entirely comfortable within 20m of riding. Our guide, Brad was experienced and put us in a position to succeed. You'll most likely be broken into small groups and taken into the back country on packed trails.
The day that we went out was chilly and I thought I'd need the extra clothing offered, but I survived with a layers, warm gloves, hat.
The key to survival is the heated handles of the snowmobile.
Your helmet and goggles are on the house, but you can rent extra gear if necessary.
All in all a great experience I'd love to do again.

Loved our Summit snowmobile tour! The group was small enough that we got our own guide and basically ended up having a private tour. Having read other reviews when booking, I was a bit nervous. Yes, the office staff can be a bit rude and hard to communicate with, but the actual tour guides were lovely, so try to look past the rest and just enjoy. Make sure to bring some cash to tip your bus driver and tour guide. Oh, and definitely get the photos! The photographer was delightful and we love our momento.

Great 1st time experience! Parking is very very limited, so plan accordingly. We had to park across the street and walk, about 1/4 mile with a major street crossing with moderate/heavy traffic. Once waivers were signed, we grabbed a helmet (provided) and loaded onto a coach bus. Additional gear available to rent. Highly recommend a helmet with a face shield and a neck gaiter that's able to be pulled up for additional protection. I was nervous at first, but we were given quality instruction prior to riding and I was good to go in no time. Recommend giving snowmobiling a shot! You won't regret the views.

WHAT A BLAST!!!! Garrett was our tour guide. He was AMAZING. He explained how to use the snowmobile to those that have never been on one and to update those who have. He was Friendly, detailed, safe, fun and just a great guide. the best guide we have had here at LTA. We will try to request him next time we are up here for the advanced ride.

The tour itself was 2 hours long. That’s actual ride time. Garrett made sure to stop for short picture opportunities every so often and to check on his group.

We had the 11am tour. We were picked up at our resort by a bus at 9:05am. made a few other stops to pick up more people. Once we arrived to their office off 50 in Meyers we had to go inside to fill out paperwork. That does take some time. Too bad they don’t allow you to fill the forms out online to make the check in process quicker. Anyways, once we checked in and got our helmets we loaded the busses and headed up 89 to Hope Valley. Once there they broke up the 3 bus loads into groups. Each Tour guide gave their instructions and off we went.

Once the tour is over, you will load back into the busses and go back down the hill to the office to return your helmet, and back onto a bus to be taken back to your hotel or resort.

Some notes. you can have 2 people per machine. you have to be 16 or older with a government ID to drive the snowmobile alone. Weight max was 450lbs i believe. our 17yr old son is 6’8 and was able to fit comfortably and had a blast. no bathrooms on the trail. so you may have to water a tree if you have to go. so be sure to do your biz when you arrive.

Thanks again to Garrett for making this day FUUUUUN!!
