I had an open house for my candle business on July 25, 2024. I HIGHLY recommend Leave it to Meeka to decorate for any event that you're having. She is VERY professional and gives you multiple options to choose from according to your theme. I love sunflowers so she made sure that I got what I asked for. I also got to enjoy some REAL sunflowers afterwards. She will be my go to person for my events.

My now husband and I hired Leave it to Meeka to be our wedding planner/day of event. We were so lucky and grateful to be able to hire her, considering it was short notice, hiring her in July for an early August wedding. We had been up in the air about hiring a planner/coordinator, but looking back, we are SO glad we did!

Meeka was professional, friendly, and flexible, working together with me to make a plan that worked for both of us, as I had already planned most of the wedding. She brought forth ideas that I hadn't thought of and proposed some additional decoration ideas that added some perfect finishing touches to make our wedding look and feel the way we imagined and hoped it would.

Before the wedding, Meeka attended my pre wedding meeting at the venue, which was great to get the venue and her acquainted before the date, and she also came to the rehearsal to help us practice.

On the day of the wedding, Meeka and her assistant, Morgan (who was also great!), were available all day and stayed until the end of the ceremony, ensuring that my husband and I had all of our cards and gifts, as well as our decorations to take home. Meeka made sure that my train looked right before walking down the aisle, she ensured that we got plates of the appetizers and food made up for us, and she even hunted down a piece of cheesecake for me after it had been taken away, as I had been too busy having a good time to eat it beforehand.

Between the finishing touches she proposed, helping with the entrance, coordinating with the vendors (including delivering their checks on my behalf), and making sure everything was tied up at the end of the night so we didn't have to worry about it, MEEKA WAS AMAZING AND SO WORTH IT! My husband and I would recommend her services for anyone planning a special event!

We also had her team make our seating chart, which we were very pleased with, and we also rented small candles for the tables and a gift box.

Meeka was kind, communicative, great to talk to, and had lots of ideas and suggestions for my event! I never felt like I was pressured to do anything, but her insight from her vast experience in decorating for my wedding, even with some planning aspects (I only hired her for decorating service) was so appreciated and helpful. She was completely fine with me emailing her a bunch of ideas as they came to my mind, and she did make sure to keep in touch to let me know she was still working on ideas, amongst the many other events she's hired for. I wanted relatively simple decor with emphasis on a few important details or areas and she 100% delivered. I will say that I am a "plan everything months ahead of time" type of person (aka, opposite of a procrastinator) and of course, overall wedding jitters all culminated in me being nervous as time drew nearer for finalization of planning but I knew from previous reviews that Meeka has a lot of experience, including planning last-minute events. So if you're like me, who gets antsy when things aren't done super early, just take a breath and calm yourself, Meeka WILL deliver 🙂
I also asked her to arrange flowers for me and my bridal party (as well as simple boutonnieres for my family) and I LOVED how beautiful and vibrant they turned out! Overall, Meeka and her team were wonderful and I'm glad I hired her!
