When i say I would give one star if I could, I sincerely mean it! This company is terrible. I have never set foot in the parma location but legacy health services as a whole is a TERRIBLE COMPANY! They don't not care about their staff or the residents that call there facilities home!! They only care about money! Please do NOT send your loved ones to any legacy building. They pay so much to be there and this company takes everything they can get away with taking away! Residents are not allowed to wear pull ups for incontinence, they are forced to wear ridiculous netted underware with a pad! Why...to save them money with no regard to what the resident prefers! They take their rigjt away to choose what they eat, they also take snacks away, only diabetics get snacks and that is ONLY because they have no choice! They don't not pay their bills, they have other companies provide services, like transportation to appointments, then they do not pay them, I'm talking massive bills 64,000 dollar bills! They staff with bare minimum with no care as to what that does to patient care! Now let's talk about staff. They do not care about their staff either! We were managed by legacy for a period of 2 yrs, in that 2 years we were told we had to wait on vacation time. When they took over they recognized our original hire date with previous company and we were able to keep seniority, until another company bought us, then for the first time they decide not to recognize our original hire date, why? Because that meant they would have to pay out our vacation that just loaded for the 1st time in that 2 yrs, 100% so they screwed every employee that had been there more than 5 years technically, out of either 120 hours or 160 hours! They only paid out 20% as of we were only employed for 2 yrs, one minute they acknowledge our original hire date, the next they no longer acknowledge it, why Because they would have to pay that vacation time out!! It's dirty and unprofessional! They are only in it for the money the owners higher ups or whoever it may be can pocket! They wouldn't even approve us to repair things in the building that needed fixed! Because they didn't want to spend the money to do so! This company needs to be closed down, they might as well be a criminal organization!!!! Because what they do is illegal, and they find ways to cover things up and make it look legal. So for your sake, please please find another place to get a new job, and PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE TO ANY LEGACY HEALTH SERVICES BUILDING, I promise you they do not care about the residents best interests nor do they care what they want or need.

I would not put my family member in any legacy Healthcare facilities, none of them. This company is about money and not patient care. They don't pay their bills and they take money from their hard working employees. I wish I could tell all of their bad habits but there isn't enough room.

Choosing a nursing facility for your loved one, is a very hard and emotional decision to make, not only for the patient but for their family as well. Once you come to terms, knowing you have to put a family member into a nursing facility, the next question, is which one? There are so many nursing facilities out there. How will I know which one to trust & gives the upmost care? Which one will give my loved one dignity and respect? Which one will not let my loved one stay in bed all day? Which one will treat my loved one as their own family member? Which one will be knowledgeable about my loved ones medical needs? Which ones will interact & talk with my loved one instead of putting them in front of a tv for hours on end. Unfortunately, a few years ago, I was faced with those same questions. I chose Legacy Health Services, after doing a lot of research. They were a family owned company, whom I felt confident, would treat my loved one as their own family member, as this is the foundation on how Legacy Health Services was created. The staff from the admissions department, to the nurses, to the medical assistants, etc; were wonderful & seem so compassionate at what they do. Everyone was so understanding and I felt at ease, leaving my loved one in their care.
I started to notice some declining changes within the last 4 to 5 months. I can't pinpoint it but the nursing facility atmosphere seem to change. The front office, nursing staff, the dietitians, etc didn't have their normal cheerful faces. No one looked happy. They did their job, but it was without emotion. I also noticed old staff leaving. I voiced my concerns, but everyone said everything was fine. I looked into this further because I did not want this to affect the care my loved one received. I found out Legacy Health Services is no longer family owned. They sold their company to multiple investors. I found this out first hand, these investors do not care about the staff and do not care about the patients. The only concern is money, and how to get more money from private payers. I was even more shocked when these greedy investors bought another company with an additional 18 more nursing facilities, in less than a year. Management changed. I can tell when staff are happy to work for a company and enjoy their job versus staff who only goes to work for a paycheck. I am very disappointed & and worried how this will affect resident care. If you're thinking of putting a loved one in a nursing facility, I would not recommend Legacy Health Service. I do not know what the future holds, for a company who owned and ran by investors who don't bother to show up into the office.

If you know you know. I kid working for Legacy so far is okay. Wish the training was a but more organized. Luckily I worked agency before so I can quickly adapt. Just wish I knew more about OnShift and things like that or had received a pay schedule 📅 😕. It's all good though other places are worse. 🙂

My mother-in-law was discharged after 20 days because her insurance only covered 20 days. We appealed to the insurance company but the Wickliffe-Country Place reported to the insurance company that she could walk 35 ft. with a cane and some assistance. My mother-in-law reports that she was never asked to walk and did not walk at all while there because she always used a wheelchair.

When she was discharged, we, her family, were informed that she had taken a COVID-19 test and the results were negative. That evening we got a personal call from a worker at Wickliffe informing us that the results were not negative. They were positive for COVID-19. My husband (her son) and I brought her back to our home for continued care thinking that she was in good medical health. We also have in our residence my 87-year-old mother who has emphysema and is at very high risk should she contract COVID-19.

We have taken great care to isolate each woman in her own room and are quarantining for 14 days. My mother-in-law is mostly immobile and requires close body contact for all of her needs including toileting. My husband and I cared for her for almost a full day before we were informed of her positive COVID-19 test results.

The negligence shown by reporting incorrect incorrect COVID-19 testing results is inexcusable. Wickliffe Country Place has endangered three lives: my husband, me, and my mother. My husband will miss 2 full weeks of work due to the quarantine and more if he contracts this disease.
