Great mix of food, history and side of East Coast charm-sarcasm (mean that as a compliment) . Excellent guide Justin was everything you want in a guide- knowledge humor and organized. Thank god plenty of restroom access, 💕Highly recommend. Went with my 21 yo daughter and we both loved it.

I’ve been on two tours with “Like a Local” - the Lower East Side tour with Chris and Chelsea Market/Hudson Yards with Jocelyn.

Both were absolutely INCREDIBLE! They each were so lovely, charming, and knowledgeable about the food and neighborhoods.

My first tour with Chris was a mix of groups and he was great at including everyone in conversation. I immediately booked a second one with a bunch of my friends for the tour with Jocelyn and she really cared for us and our experiences. As someone who’s lived in NYC for 4 years, there were many spots I didn’t even know and I learned so much!

Highly recommend for truly any group for any occasion. Also love that it’s women owned!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The NYC Chelsea Market, Meatpacking District, and High Line Food Tour was an incredible experience that combined history, culture, and fantastic cuisine. Exploring the vibrant Chelsea Market and trying five different types of delicious food was a treat for the senses, each bite revealing a unique flavor story. Our tour guide, Morgan, was exceptional—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the area's rich history. Morgan shared fascinating historical insights and guided us to breathtaking locations with stunning views that enhanced the overall experience. This tour is a must-do for foodies and history enthusiasts alike. HIGHLY recommend!

Jocelyn is the best tour guide I’ve ever had! I don’t usually do guided tours in nyc but I’m so glad I chose this one and had Jocelyn as my guide! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. All of the food was delicious and the stories she shared along the way made the experience that much richer!

We did the private Brooklyn Graffiti Workshop and Street Art Tour. We were two moms and our almost 16 yr old sons. It was really interesting learning all of the history, significance, techniques, and politics of the street pieces. Then we got to paint! Our artists was Mims and he was fantastic! We got to choose what to paint and we decided on our dogs. After some lessons on spray painting technique, we showed him the pic we wanted to paint and the way he helped us create was unreal!! He did the outline, we did some highlights, then he finished it off. We loved it. Making 15 year old boys happy is nearly impossible but we did it!

Myself and friends (group of 5 women), each of us from all over the USA, and one man from Germany in town on business in went on Seth’s Brooklyn Foodie tour in January of 2025. He made sure to share his local knowledge about the neighborhood of Brooklyn and its foodie hotspots. I appreciated that he also tied in our own knowledge into his tour and was considerate of the German man *probably* not knowing what the Underground Railroad was, giving him a crash course on early American History (which was nice to brush up on for us Americans as well). DUMBO is always a great spot to visit, this was my second time there, and I can’t tell you how many places Seth helped me bookmark for future visits on my Yelp account! He was very patient with us when we all had questions and wanted to chat about the places we visited along the tour. I HIGHLY recommend this tour, such a wonderful and delicious experience!

We had a great time at the Chelsea Market and High Line Guided Food Tour. Morgan, our tour guide is informative and knowledgeable. The food at Chelsea Market is delicious. Chelsea Market is located in the heart of New York City’s Meatpacking District. Chelsea Market is considered one of the greatest indoor food and retail marketplaces in the world today. The High Line is a New York City public park built on a 1.45 mile-long, elevated freight rail structure on Manhattan’s West Side. The High Line’s design is a collaboration between James Corner Field Operations, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, and planting designer Piet Oudolf.
