There's absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. I booked it based on its rating and location to the golf course. There's a few 1 star ratings, and I just don't see it. The staff was more than friendly and accommodating. Rooms were updated and clean, apart from the bathrooms which were fine. Paid $70/night which is a steal. I did see some negative reviews saying they paid $150/night and I agree that is a bit much for this place, but they seem to have stayed during the Tulip Festival so some surge pricing is to be expected. Don't be deterred by the few negative reviews. This place is great

I checked in late at night and the lady at the desk was incredibly nice and helpful. My room was clean and everything comfortable with no issues at all. I like the flooring in the rooms as opposed to carpet because it feels cleaner. Great amenities. The fitness center has a perfect amount of options for what I need. The breakfast is pretty awesome and I love the waffle maker with all kinds of topping options. The prices were good compared to everywhere else around and I like the are it’s located as it’s a bit more quiet but still near the lake. I will be in town weekly and continuing to stay here. The GM, Jody, is super wonderful and you can tell cares about the experience of the customers. We even discussed how excited she was to figure out cool breakfast options for people and ideas to add more. She even offered to help pre-book my future rooms so i always had one available while in town. Super super helpful and just a great experience all around.

The pool area was nice. Pool was nice and warm. Black mold in the bathroom sink and on floor between bed and night stand. Walls are thin. Can hear people talking in adjoining rooms and people walking in above rooms. Nice breakfast with many choices.

Found out well after the fact they overcharged us quite a lot per night versus the booked price. Despite proof via the original booking receipt, they just went sent us in circles when we were trying to get it fixed and saying it wasn't their fault. Credit card won't refund because it's technically not fraud as we did stay there, again despite proof of the pricing discrepancy. Do not recommend.

They booked us a regular suite and the 2nd night we were to be moved into a whirl pool suite because worker was not aware 1st night there where no whirl pool suites available. We were told the next morning they had just learned animals could not be in whirl pool suite so they would give us 1st night free. When checking out general manager was rude non empathetic and did nothing to try to make up for an awful stay.
....there gm talked to me as a child stated ahe didnt have corporates phone number and i could look it up myself. Employees where thrown on floor with little to no training. Room was not cleaned or stocked when entering. We were not restocked with towels etc during our stay. We were charged for items from their market we had paid cash for. We were misinformed on 2 different occasions. We were treated as though we didn't matter to them and spoke to like a child. Gm was very unprofessional and out of line stated she had managed for years but doubting this by the unorganization and lack of professionalism. I felt awful for her employees gm was very deeming towards what seemed to be a very loyal member of the team and the poor girl checking us in had no training it was her 3rd night and she had never done a booking. I do not recommend a stay here. It ruined what was to be a very special weekend that we will never get back. Highly disgusted with gm and very disappointed.

We were in town for the Knoxville Late Model Nationals. Friendly, helpful staff were able to accommodate an early check-in and were very welcoming. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. TV channel selection could use an update fom analog.
Good breakfast options daily. Well stocked.
Hot tub was out of order, so we didn't check out the pool area. Short drive to Pella from the hotel. 2nd year in a row staying here and will be booking again for next year.

Don’t be deceived because this hotel is on a golf course that it will be nice. This hotel was dirty. There was mold growing on the ceiling of the elevator. We walked into our room, which was spacious- however, there was no furniture to sit on besides the bed and one office chair. There was tons of room for a couch or a couple chairs. The floors were dirty, there was dust on everything. The sheets on the bed didn’t appear clean, and when sleeping the sheets kept releasing from the top of the bed to exposing the mattress. The bathroom was dirty- the floor had cracked tile and random trash like toothpicks lying on the floor. I booked this hotel on their website (stupidly) and paid $175 for one night. I kept thinking there is no way this is worth $175/night. Looking now at Travelocity- they are charging $99/night- which is a much better representation of the quality of this hotel. Don’t book on their website! If you don’t care much about cleanliness, the stay would be ok.

I do not recommend staying here. My fiancé and I drove up from Oklahoma for the Tulip Time Festival. Arrived on Thursday night and had issues for the entire stay until we left on Sunday. First there were no TV remotes. No phone to call front desk so had to make multiple trips to front desk for each issue. Got a remote but then TV fuzzy to no picture, volume didn't work half the time. Jacuzzi jets wouldn't work. No iron or ironing board. No shower curtain to take a shower until noon the 2nd day. Tub so small nearly couldn't get out of it. No internet service. No pool towels. No lamp shade on living room lamp. Heat lamp missing in bathroom. Had to use Walmart sacks for trash since there was only a tiny trash can in the bathroom. Dust from renovation all over everything. Only 2 small pillows on a king sized bed. Manager said they'd adjust the $300/night charges but of course that didn't happen. This was at most an $89/night hotel. Very disappointing after having high hopes from photos, descriptions, high price. Felt like we were on "Let's Make a Deal." Room #127...BIG ZONK.
