Such a cool visit.
A great way to spend an afternoon on the FREE tour and tasting. Such great information!
It was awesome to learn how they approach their aging differently than others, and I'm really appreciative that they locally source as much as possible .
So many options for purchase in the gift shop, and bottle prices seemed to be cheaper there than in area liquor stores, with a greater selection!!
Easy to get to, with a short drive to nearby ice cream treats, and steaks from cows that ate the spent grains

This place is much more impressive than it looks from the outside. It is much larger than I expected and they have a large variety of liquors. The tour and free tastings weee fantastic as well. Everyone was super friendly, highly recommended checking this out if you are in the area.

Came out to Connecticut from Texas to see what the fuss is all about; we had great BBQ at Hindsight in Waterbury and when the conversation turned to whiskey they recommended we check out Litchfield Distillery. What a recommendation in deed! This small business is ran by some passionate and very knowledgable individuals. We were greeted warmly, they answered ALL of our curious questions, they let us pick which spirits to sample and even rewarded us with a sample of their Bourbon Barrel aged Maple Syrup. I can’t wait to be back in CT for more.

Loved the tour and tasting. It was free and extremely informative. All staff were super polite and showed great care for the customers. Loved all the spirits, one of the tastiest coffee liquor I’ve had in a long time. Flavored wasn’t overpowering it just enough to really enjoy.

We love Litchfield Distillery! Everyone that works here is so kind and helpful. We have toured several times and each visit learn something new! Their bourbon and other spirits are lovely and we've loved every limited edition product we've tried. They don't make you feel pressured to purchase anything after the complimentary tasting but we do every time because it and the people are just so great. Always a spot we bring friends and family when they come to visit. Thanks for being amazing Litchfield Distillery Family!!

Favorite products:
1) Cask Strength Bourbon- just delicious and a staple in our cabinet
2) Honey barrel aged gin- limited edition that I hope they will make again
3) Regular gin- the first gin I ever really liked
4) Bourbon maple syrup-no other syrup will ever measure up

The house of award-winning bourbons, gin and incredible blueberry flavored vodka (only local blueberries used.)
The distillery was opened 7 years ago. We had a tour led by a co-owner: very informative. The tours was followed by tasting of 5 different spirits.

This is a fantastic distillery. Their tasting, free no charge, and tour is top notch. We have visited many distilleries in Kentucky and Tennessee and their tour and explanations of how they make the various spirits was outstanding, the best from all our distillery tours. Their 10 year old bourbon is very smooth with superb flavors an outstanding choice, I bought two bottles.
