A public government office is where no one wants to be...ever. There are always lines, and people looking miserable, and confusing paperwork. But I've been here maybe 4 times, and 3 of those times I got someone awesome and helpful. The staff here is great, especially with what they have to put up with. Shoutout to Window B and Window H for making me feel secure in the process.

Very hard to locate. We were not allowed inside the building. There is only one, very nice and helpful, woman working at the front door that did her best to help the long line of people. I felt sorry for her that she was the only one there to help every person and had to speak through a door frame. It was the strangest experience I have had at a government building.

Very friendly, very fast -- I really got the feeling the staff there genuinely want to help. All except for this one receptionist who was very rude and dismissive. Was more concerned about her nails than caring how I felt over her claims I was going to lose all my benefits. Spoiler alert: I didn't.

I had to argue with her over seeing a worker to discuss my case, she was that convinced there was nothing I could do; that it was a done deal. I sat with the worker probably not even a minute and he readily assured me I was fine.

This receptionist's lack of just basic empathy and manners is very off-putting in such a sensitive environment where majority of folks that come through are in desperate need of help. Simple kindness goes a long way. Maybe she was just having an off day, I imagine it can be a very stressful work environment.

Much more minor complaint is that the parking lot is very confusing on where visitors are allowed to park. It's also frustrating that you can't really make an appointment or call the office directly. Which all the more grateful for how speedy they work to help as many as they can at a time.

I went to this office with my disabled brother, he's blind and we needed help with the process. They don't let you in, they just stop u at the door, u can't talk to nobody at less they see a need. According to a recipients issue that is how long it takes, in a meantime a line is forming behind u with people breathing on ur neck listening to ur issue which I feel there is no privacy which I figure they don't care. I understand the employee at the door is just following rules. I rushed to my question to give the rest of the people the chance to do their business and I stepped to the side to wait when it slow down but, a lady inside the building name Mrs. Jones notice that we're still linger around and call us back to the door, let us in and gave us her personal attention and resolved the matter. They need more empathetic people like her that can read the need on anybody that is knocking on their door. Thank you Mrs. Jones.

Place is a joke. Case workers are impossible to reach. Calling to speak to an agent on hold for 2 hours just to get hung up on. Everytime I apply for services I have to go through an appeal because of given least amount of hours.

Be prepared to wait at least 1-2 hours on the phone ! And if you get lucky to get someone to answer, you’d better scream thru the phone or else they’ll pretend to not hear you and Hang up 🙂

The wait is rediculis. I guess they like to make it hard on people just barely getting by. They wouldn't take anything off for my car are auto insurance despite my living in it. They pay the same as they do in sections of the country where everything is half price. Gas on the east coast 250 gas here 5
