Giving this a 5 star review. What a wonderful spot, they give you a ride down to the river spot, let you pick out your floats with string so you can tie together if you want, & when you come to an end, they help you take the floats out. One guy gave our mom a lift on the golf cart back to my jeep. I am so impressed with how friendly, and easy this was. What a wonderful place to go. Really enjoyed this trip & it was our first time! Also loved each beach was named, and had a small sign for a half way point so you knew where you were!

We went the Saturday before Labor Day. There were a handful of other groups, and one big group having a BBQ on one of the banks. We did the 2 hour float, which was enough for us, but everyone else did the 4 hours (price is the same). They bussed us up to the start location, gave us tubes, and we got in by ourselves. The water was fine for a natural river, and there's a bit of tree cover towards the sides of the river, but not much. Several places to get out and chill on the banks if needed. Several downed trees you may need to navigate around. No crocs or wildlife that we saw, but there was a group of people with three motorboats that sped past us and kicked up waves, but everyone else on the river was there tubing or kayaking. It was very relaxing, and the staff is kind. Mostly teenagers/young adults and older. Bring sunscreen!!!!!

Amazing day! Best customer service! Welcoming, courteous, and respectful! Listen to their advice on what not to bring with you or you will regret it.. Great memorable experience! Won't tube at any other location in Louisiana again, but Louisiana River Adventures! Lasting impression!

My friends and I come MULTIPLE times a year and it’s NEVER been a disappointment. The owners are fun and friendly. They want you to have an amazing time but also want to make sure everyone is safe doing so! They beaches are always spotless and trash cans are provided throughout the river. The tubes are in great condition and they even have some lay down tubes! They have stuff to buy at the l counter incase you forgot essentials. there are rope swings and there is a volleyball net… all around, it’s a great time. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Awesome day trip! We did the 4 hour float via river tube and it was only $25. Free parking, they drop you off and pick you up, cooler tubes for $5, life vests on request, dressing rooms & bathrooms on site. Very friendly, well-run company. I’ve never floated the Bogue Chitto but I did a river float in Hot Springs, Arkansas a few years back and this was way more relaxing and organized. Easy float that would be kid friendly (would probably do the two hour one though) since there’s not too many obstacles/rapids and lots of beaches to stop at. Took me less than a 1.5 hours to get here from NOLA and took my friends about 1.5 to get here from BR.10/10 recommend this and I will definitely be back!

We love going to Louisiana River Adventures on a hot sunny Summer Day with friends and an ice chest full of cold beers. The numerous beach stops and rope swing make a fun day full of memories! Hope to come back this Summer!

I’ve been coming here for years now and this is the best river experience you can have on the Bogue Chitto. Reagan and his team are fantastic to work with and really welcome you in as part of the family to make sure you have a fantastic time. Highly recommended to anyone in the area!
