Captain Tony and the mates Chris, & Bill are top notch. We are from NJ. My bf and I have taken two trips up to CT (3.5hrs from home) to spend the day on the Lucky Lady & Lucky Hook Charter, LLC. The boat is clean, plenty of room for all passengers, safe, and best of all you catch a lot of fish! Captain Tony is very knowledgeable about the waters and always takes his guests to the best fishing spots. We’ve caught fluke, sea bass, blue fish, & robins. The crew is fun loving, so helpful, & knowledgeable too. They take good care of everyone on board. Super reasonable prices to boot! We will go back over and over again. Great locatiob, safe parking, very clean bathrooms are all also worth mentioning 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A++++++ experience!

I went fishing here with a group of friends this past weekend as a birthday party activity. As a beginner at fishing, I was happy with how helpful and knowledgeable Captain Tony and the mates were. The boat was very clean and sanitary for its passengers. After hours of fishing the mates cut fillets for us to take home. I highly recommend this fishing experience. Fishermen at every experience level will be able to enjoy themselves and have a fun time.

I did not have a good experience with this charter (it should be renamed The Unlucky Lady”!). The crew rude and, unless you are a regular, they are not very helpful with you. One of the crew was even helping someone (a friend of their regular customers) but got mad when I asked for a bucket.

The $85 bottom-fishing trip was actually a porgy trip, and they offered a 4-hour porgy trip (for an extra $55) right after.

Unlike other boats that bring you to different places, we basically stayed in three or four places all the time. The fish was on smaller side and the catch wasn’t great. I have been in other fleets and they know how to put you where the fish are.

Unless you are their regular customer of this is not worth it and it is not friendly. The crew does not know how to communicate and they lack customer service (forget about bringing your family!)

Next time, I’d rather stay in Niantic, CT or nearby places where you can find a more professional service.

What a great time! For someone is sticks to pond fishing and a bobber, I had a blast and we caught so many different things! Staff was helpful and friendly!

Captain and mates worked hard and we caught a good amount of fish. Fishing ground is fairly close so not a lot of time spent in transit.

Had a hell of a time pulling meaty sea bass out of the water with Captain Mike and first mate Chris - super super friendly guys - good for a joke but don't make you feel like a putz if you arent an ace fisherman. Our group was ages 12-47 and everyone caught and we went home with a great bounty. Have used other services in the area and these guys were my favorite.

The Crew gave away my fishes to another party and then blankly looked at me when I asked them where my bucket of keepers went. On the way back to the dock, I sat inside the cabin. I saw the crew filleting some buckets of fish and didn’t think much of it. When I walked back to my spot, my bucket of fishes were gone and no one could explain where it went. Highly unprofessional for the crew to not just fess up if it was an honest mistake and apologize. Instead, everyone (i.e Crew) acted dumbfounded and ignore the glaring question of how a bucket of fish disappear… With a pile of fish corpse on the fillet table. Spent $100 just to get robbed at the end of the trip def left a bitter taste. Do the right thing and either apologize or issue a refund.

Lucky Hook is Always a good time fishing. The fishing can be up and down depending on the current. But you Always catch some Good eating. My Favorite boat to go on. The Deck hands are very friendly and Captain Tony as well. Take a Trip with them and Enjoy the experience on the Lucky Hook. I go every fishing season.
