Kaella has such a great eye for design and her events are impeccably done. They are each consistently stunning and unique and we were so glad to be able to work with her for our wedding.

As a Covid couple, we were uniquely lucky enough to work with Kaella for over 2.5 years while planning our October 2021 wedding (originally scheduled for May 2020). While planning our wedding, we truly went through the gamut with Kaella. In March 2020, we sadly postponed our May 2020 wedding to May 2021 (which was already fully planned and nearly fully paid for) and Kaella was able to rebook all of our vendors and minimize the financial loss as a result, which was amazing. We were all set! Then our wedding venue (Calistoga Ranch) burnt to the ground in the Glass Fire in September 2020. Once again, we couldn’t have done it without Kaella who now had to help us find a new venue and re-plan the entire wedding. She handled it all with grace and we were again so grateful to have her help navigating a re-plan. Joke’s on us though because we eventually had to figure out a third plan. Our new venue (Four Seasons Napa) was supposed to open in December 2020 and by February 2021, it was clear that it wasn’t going to open in time for our May wedding. Take three - we decided to move the entire wedding to October 2021 at the Andaz Scottsdale and Kaella stuck with us once again. Kaella worked her connections and helped us to plan a truly stunning event in a location she had never worked in before.

Our final wedding was so incredibly different from our initial vision at Calistoga Ranch, but that was one of the things that was so amazing about Kaella - she was able to translate our initial vision and unique style into something new and fitting for the much more modern Andaz. In the end, we had an amazing wedding and although it was 17 months later than originally planned (and significantly smaller thanks to Covid), we couldn’t have been happier.

Kaella and the Madix & Co team are on a whole other level. As a videographer, I rely heavily on a detailed schedule and a team that can follow through so that I am in the right place at the right time. Please trust me when I say that this team is amazing. They put on one of the most gorgeous weddings I've ever been to, while dealing with a stacked timeline, complicated logistics and a very strict venue. And they did it all while being kind and helpful and just generally even-keeled. I wish every planner could be like them.

They helped us through the venue selection process in 2020, postponing due to COVID in 2021, and finally bringing the event to life in 2022. Kaella & her team are truly amazing. My husband and I decided we wanted to do a destination wedding in France. While Kaella had produced a wedding in France before, this was her first time working in the Burgundy region. Additionally, our event was much larger (80+ people) than the previous wedding she had done. Regardless, she welcomed the idea and took on the challenge. She sourced all of our vendors from floral, to lighting, to rentals, to transportation and established solid relationships with all of them qucikly. Additionally, she was communicative, honest, and execution-oriented throughout the entire process. Ultimately, she brought our dream wedding to life (and more). Feedback from our guests was "your wedding was out of this world". If you are planning a destination wedding (or any wedding), I highly recommend reaching out to Kaella and her team! Best partner a vendor could ask for as Kaella is amazing! She came to us with a clear vision to make an epic night for her clients. She was thoughtful, collaborative and super responsive! She chose an amazing team of vendors and just created a really warm space where everyone supported each other to do their very best work and have fun doing it!
