Once you get here, there will be off-street parking and then you will see the trail head.It's definitely a moderate hike with a lot of loose rocks and a few up and down parts. There will be a view at the top.You will also hike all the way to powder ridge and then you can continue on and do point to point if you would like or even in out and back. It was very money when I went and there are few down the trees. Over although it was an enjoyable hike I really enjoyed it a lot.

This is a really great section of the Mattabesset Trail! Drove past and noticed the dirt pull off on 68 one day, and glad I did. Fantastic inclines offered more of a challenge than other nearby sections, but there's a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the spring breeze and vista. Lots of overgrowth, flowers and birds singing to enjoy on this trip as well. Will definitely be back!

An amazing trail running all through the state. Lots of elevation changes, and rocky trails can make this a bit harder than just a simple hike, but it's worth it. So many great views.
