We had a rough start but it may have been due to our unrealistic expectations of a skilled nursing facility. The staff was very open to sitting down and discussing my mom’s care and what she needs to get home. They have been very good to her and we absolutely love the staff at Medina Meadows. From the physical therapists to the aides, this place really does care about the patients here. Before you enter a skilled nursing facility, do some research on what to expect so that you’re not coming off short sighted to the level of care and how hard the staff really does work.

If I could give this place no stars I would. The management and owners do not care about their staff or residents. Residents are left with lights going off for hours sometimes all because of being understaffed. When concerns are brought up they are brushed under the rug. The new DON is more worried about telling everyone how qualified she is to be there but when you need and ask for her help she is no where to be found. Staff is expected to work sick and when emergencies come up you are given a could shoulder. Residents are losing weight because the food is terrible. Please if you have family here get them out. Do not believe the lies they tell you because money is their only bottom line.

My husband just returned home after 6 days of hospice respite care at Medina Meadows. He has been in a total of 7 skilled nursing facilities in the last 3 years,and Medina Meadows is far superior to the others. I am surprised and delighted with the skill, comfort, response time, food quality and kindness that I witnessed every day of his visit. Thanks to the staff and administration for highest quality care.

The therapy department is the best around totallyamazing , everyone is nice & helpful. Aides & Nurses are very good . Special shoutout to Dan ,head of the therapy dept. He's the greatest!

My mom was placed in Medina meadows for a short rehab to recover from a fall that she thought was the end and it not only helped her gain her strength back but also the want to continue. The workers helped my mom feel like she was at home which is an amazing thing !

Can't say enough how great the staff is !! So friendly and caring...so glad to know my mom is in such a loving pleasant and clean place!!

We came to visit a friend in the nursing area and found her door closed and the call light flashing. I asked the nurse what was going on and she said she’s waiting for help to go to the bathroom. FIFTEEN minutes later I asked how long someone must wait for help. The nurse said, “We only have one aid.” It’s now ten more minutes. I would not put a dog in this place!!!

My Mom was here for rehab, when I refused to admit her for very legitimate reasons the social worker their called Adult Protective Services. Now I have to deal with them. They made medication changes for my Mom took her off most her meds very dangerous. Allowed a newspaper to take my Moms picture and publish it without my permission or even informing me I found out by someone showing it to me and asking isn't this your Mom? HIPPA is not something they understand at all trust me and they allowed a family member to order my Mom to the doctor and then wanted me to pay the bill. Avoid this Place like the Plague....
