2023 review- There was no place to add a new review, so I am editing my old review. Just booked my trip to India again through agent Chandra Shekhar, in last 4 years nothing has changed same good quality customer service. I guess I am not going anywhere else to book my tickets

First I want to thank u for all your help with organizing this amazing family trip for India.
The entire trip was completely organized, Flight, hotel, excursions, etc. And we were able to enjoy the experience rather than worry about details.

do not waste your time with Mercury trips. They do not provide any details, like potential savings, penalties, etc.

I purchased a ticket to India from this company, because of Covid-19 all plans were cancelled and India had banned flights coming in. I reached out to them to get a refund and I was told I could reschedule my ticket with in the next 3 months ( this was in march). Nobody can predict when Covid-19 will end so how am I supposed to reschedule my trip? the other options they presented me with was cancelling my flight but there was a $500 penalty! Most carriers refunded passengers because of Covid-19 but not these guys. I have called them multiple times trying to get a refund and they give me excuses and tell me they will call Air India and call me back, its September 2020 and I still haven't heard back!! Big mistake booking with this company. Don't waste your time and money with this agency.

Amlan cost me 200$ extra on a booking for 2nd bag charges. Though the ticket issued by Mercury trip said 2 pc baggage allowed, United site said only one and charged me at check in. Totally unprofessional in the way this was handled. I tried to get confirmation multiple times on the baggage allowance, Everytime I was assured that it's 2pc.
Finally refused to compensate me in any way for the extra charges I had to pay.
Will not recommend.

I have been working with Sangeetha for the past 8 years. I would not want to continue to go to Nepal each June without her helpful expertise. We normally have 8-9 in our group and sometimes it is a little complicated. She is the absolute best. She is patience, thorough, good with layovers, and is most helpful with my students who are going home on to China or Korea from Kathmandu. You only have 5 stars, but I would give Sangeetha 6 or 7 if I could.
