What a fantastic little slice of paradise. Damn this place is awesome! The best part is the observation room. You could sit there for hours watching the animals run and eat and fly around. All through a big window with tables and chairs. It was thriving with life!

Beautiful space and one of the many entrances to the calmness of the woods right in the middle of the city.

Walking/biking trails galore.

Lots of parking.

Birdwatching/wildlife watching area.

Public bathrooms with a horse stall theme. This building used to be the carriage house for the Manor House located a short walk from this parking area.

There are also picnic tables, a bike tire pump/fix it stand, and a stretching area for pre and post workout.

Go through the arch to find the rear gardens and a map of the trails.

The office facility is not frequently staffed by park personnel but phone numbers are posted if you require assistance.

The place is a nice place to walk. But part of the blue trail was blocked off due to some falling trees,
They were working on the problem. We just went the back way. Tell they finish undoing what the tree's have done. Enjoy the yourselves it's still a wonderful place to go.

I'm glad there's someone who knows where I've been, and that, by name. All I knew, I was at Wildwood studying my Sunday school lesson, being rather glad it was in such a Beautiful Setting. Seeing, either a Lady, or dog, taking the other for a walk. Enjoyed my time there immensely!

The most active window on wildlife of all the Toledo metroparks is located here. Though not boldly marked you can access it through two doors on the east side. The window is wheelchair accessible. Also, this is where the trailhead is located giving you access to all the trails in the park.
