If all you want is a place to sleep, shower, pee and poop, this motel may be okay. You also get a big, flat screen tv as well, although using the remote to find a favorite station is done by trial and error. We had what they called a "deluxe double", but it lacked amenities that most other motels provide. For example, there was NO closet or place to hang clothes; NO hook in the bathroom for a robe, or storage for an extra roll of tp. The room featured cheap built-ins instead of furniture (NO dresser), glaring wall lights, NO task lighting, NO wall decor, and only one desk chair. While there was a small fridge and microwave, there was NO clock radio or coffee maker. Even though they said the rooms had been recently "rennovated", there was glaring evidence of a very sloppy paint job.||My sister and I required an easily accessed room. By calling ahead I was able to get one on the first floor. I also was told there was a handicapped parking space when I asked, but when we got there we found that it was many yards away from our room! I knew that the property had an elevator from having stayed there when it was the Guest Inn and Suites. but at this recent stay I saw a sign on the check-in window that it was out of order.||In sum, I much preferred it under its old incarnation. Although this motel is convenient to relatives, major streets and two freeways in the San Gabriel Valley, I won't be returning there anytime soon.

Absolutely a terrible motel. We rented for 5 days and left a day early. Our initial room had both the phone and the smoke detector disabled when we moved into the room. It turns out that there are no working phones in any of the rooms, which is a bit of a safety concern. Whe I asked the management about this, they told me the phone system was broken and was too expensive to repair so they were phasing them out. They leave the phones in the rooms, but with no cords connected to the walls.

Both of the first two nights, the family that rents one of the roms as long-term housing allowed their kids to stay up all night screaming and throwing things. After the second night of this, we approached the office. They agreed to move us to a new room. The new room was a bit better, it had a working smoke alarm, but still no working phone. It also had an ant infestation and a heater with the fan bearings going out, so it made too much noise to use at night. Both the nights we were in this room, the nieghbors had loud screaming fights out in the parking lot in front of the rooms. We checked out a day early and mentioned all of this to the management. We were asked why we didn't call at the time, at which point i had to ask "With what phone", given all of the room phones are disabled.

Even though we checked out a day early, they are refusing to refund the day we didn't stay. Fortunately, we took pictures and video and will be pursuing safety complaints with the city.

Positive: I did not like this hotel. Negative: Felt unsafe for single female. Parking lot/hotel very busy at midnight. Sounds clearly audible through walls and ceiling. No coffee maker/coffee in the room. Towels likely work as industrial sandpaper for a side hustle. There are long-term residents.

I had high hopes for my birthday stay, and overall, it started great. The room was comfortable, and I really enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi. Unfortunately, I woke up to a live cockroach crawling on the bed, which completely ruined the experience. It made me feel uncomfortable, and I couldn’t fully enjoy the rest of my time there.

My stay at Mid City Inn was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel was spotless, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect balance of softness and support for a restful night's sleep. Additionally, the room temperature was perfectly maintained, ensuring a comfortable environment throughout my stay. I slept soundly through the night without any disturbances. Mid City Inn truly exceeded my expectations, making for a hassle-free and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort and peace of mind during their stay.

This hotel is not good to stay here especially with the front desk person his name is Kumar I don’t like his attitude because his so rude and so disrespectful towards Latinos people also in the hotel rooms the blankets sheets they look dirty and ripped I think the housekeeping people don’t clean very good because the sheets from the bed has dust and bug bites in the morning when you wake up you have in your arms like mosquitoes bites and then the pool is very dirty it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for weeks you also the rooms from Mimi refrigerator doesn’t cool things and plus the machine to get ice doesn’t work I don’t know but my advice is do not stay in this hotel

Price-quality was very good. We thought that the facilities were going to be in worse condition due to the appearance of the area, but when we arrived we found a very well-equipped room and everything very clean. Daily cleaning and towel change.
Add that it had shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body cream
