I cannot recommend this facility due to their new policy requiring children to use gendered bathrooms without adult accompaniment, even if they still need assistance. This policy creates unnecessary risks, leaving extremely young children vulnerable to being alone in a bathroom with adult strangers. Even older children are not immune to potential dangers in this situation.

It is deeply concerning that this policy prioritizes rigid rules over the safety of children. Allowing a child to be separated from their trusted adult in such a private and vulnerable space is unacceptable.

I urge this facility to reconsider this harmful policy for the well-being and safety of all children. Until then, I strongly advise parents and caregivers to think twice before bringing their children here. Their safety should always come first.

I would strongly advise against using this facility due to their recent policy of separating children from their adults in the bathroom. They now require a child to use the appropriate gendered bathroom and they even add that "even If your child still needs assistance, they will need to use the appropriate gendered bathroom" This opens children up to the possible experience of being victimized by another adult. Child predators will certainly view this as an opportunity to be alone in a bathroom with a child who could only be 5 years old. Even a child who is 7, 8 or 9 years old is at risk of possibly being victimized. As a child therapist, it only takes moments for this to happen. Please for the sake of the safety of your child avoid this establishment until they change this requirement. Do not allow your little girl or boy to be left alone in a bathroom with adult strangers who know they are vulnerable.

Gym is good but generally not enough seating for visitors. There are two games going on at the same time and the whistles can be confusing.

Classic gym, great if you are playing basketball. Terrible if you are a spectator with a single bench behind the baskets. Loud environment with a curtain separating 2 side by side courts, balls crossing over from other games.

At the Orange Ave fields for youth sports on a Sunday and all the bathrooms are locked so no children can use them. There are no porta-potties on site either. All the Milford youth coaches are refusing to call for the bathroom codes because 'The park and rec guy is in a bad mood'.

They have a great range of programs to support people of all different age groups and interests throughout the city. They are one of the best advantages of living in Milford and one of the Benefits of the taxes that we pay. I have tried, Yoga, Line Dancing Ballroom Dancing and several other activities over the years and the cost is always affordable and they are a great way to meet people too
