We stayed in the Phobe cabin which is a tastefully updated 1870's log cabin with a spectacular view. Spent lots of time on the deck shaded by a huge tree overlooking a meadow with a view of the Little Colorado. I would definitely recommend this rental. We loved it!

Great cabin with all the amenities needed. Plus, a fenced front yard. Owner has deep roots in the community and there's enough to do in the area or you can really relax. Meadow and mountain scenery is beautiful. There's alo a creek close by. It's normally an annual trip.

This has been my annual event for many years and the ranch sets on the little Colorado River and views are breathtaking with lots of Deer,Elk,Eagle's,Raccoon,Hummingbirds and so much more. The cabin itself is always clean and everything works well in it and outside hiking trails close or Big Lake and Nelson Reservoir is close for big Trout.

MLY- Phobe. Eclectic and quirky. Floorplan changes elevation and doorways can be challenging for anyone over 6'. Not recommend for small children or NBA players.
Trying to arrange horseback trail ride was itself an adventure. Only two of us wanted to ride but once Kim finally returned our call she informed us that being the case it would be a 2 hr minimum. Ouch!
City-slickers can't sit a horse that long without a single-malt and a wheelchair at the end....

We love the cabin and the surrounding area. It's a perfect spot for our family to get together and enjoy some time together. We have a yearly tradition of staying here and I would recommend it to anyone!

We always enjoy our visits. Fabulous views. Get to see deer,elk,antelope, even a beaver working on its dam.
