Modern Dress was my favorite dress shopping experience of the four stores I visited. They were patient and brought suggestions to the room based on feedback I was providing on the dresses I had tried. They also feature designers that many stores in the Des Moines metro do not, which gave me the opportunity to find my dream Made With Love gown. They also offered a package for preserving my gown. I would highly recommend making the trip outside of the metro to see what they have to offer!

My experience at Modern Dress was amazing. I was a little anxious going into dress shopping and the second I stepped into Modern Dress, I knew it was going to be such a fun and enjoyable experience. Taylor F was AMAZING. She was so sweet and helpful and really listened to what I liked and disliked as we tried things on. She was so patient and really took the time to point different things out on each dress and she ended up pulling one for me that was “the one” and is SO perfect. I went to another bridal shop in the area and the experience was nothing in comparison. Loved this place and all of the ladies involved in my shopping experience. I legitimately felt like a princess which is how you SHOULD feel trying on dresses! 🙂

The ladies at Modern Dress are so helpful and kind! They make you feel supported and beautiful! I love how they keep an open line of communication by notifying me when my orders come in. They even helped me order extra dress fabric and helped me figure out how much I needed. The whole experience has been wonderful and better than I had hoped.
