Location is unbeatable. But would rather camp than rent the cabins again. Cabins are quite costly for what they are. We had a mouse in the room. Each cabin amenities vary so check with the staff before checking in. Each cabin comes with its fireplace which is a nice touch. The general store has basic necessities and pretty well stocked with beer and snacks. Our biggest disappointment was with the food at the cafe. Very overpriced (it is probably costly to get the ingredients up) and the only item that we enjoyed eating was the buffalo burger. On some special nights, they only offer specials and no burger which was a bummer.

Truly unique experience. The ride in is very memorable 12 plus miles narrow windy two way road which often is wide enough for one car only.

Staff and people extremely friendly. Restaurant very good. Hot springs are mostly mud holes with some surrounded by concrete slabs, but are the real deal, very natural. Beautiful setting. Prefer Mammoth, Yosemite, and Kings Canyon but this area is very nice also.

Magical place up in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Everything is so peaceful and beautiful, people that come here are chilled and polite, the drive up here is spectacular. The staff is very polite and helpful and the ameneties are all you need to live on this beautiful rock we call home. There are many activities you can do, many hot springs you can visit, many hikes, many lakes, many things to see. Nature is healing and coming here to Mono Hot springs will bring you right in the middle of nature. I recommend it to anyone, wholeheartedly.

Nice place, but.
The biggest bummer for me was some of the other guests. This place is wellll off the beaten path. There are not too many places like this to stay that are truly in wilderness. Somehow though, several guests felt that loud music, loud partying, loud vehicles etc was acceptable in a wilderness setting. The folks running the camp didn't seem to be bothered by this either.
I doubt it, but hope this is a rarity.
This may not be the serene mountain stay you are hoping for.

Enjoyed our stay. The road in for about an hour is unimproved, narrow, steep and takes good tires and some skill. The road is one way in, one way in, same way out, with no commercial businesses except for the small camp store and cafe at Mono Hot Springs Resort. So best to bring in food. Drinking water & firewood are available and each cabin has a fire pit and comfortable picnic table. ||The attraction is fantastic hiking and several great natural hot springs & lakes close by. Also a hot spring fed large hot tub and small private tubs and massage service. ||We had a great stay. Hosts friendly.

Historical resort built in the 1930s rock Single one & two bedroom cabins with kitchens and tent cabins. The restaurant is absolutely delicious the buffalo ribs are a must try. They have a general store that has everything that you would need or forgot they have lots of souvenirs as well as T-shirts and sweatshirts. The hot springs are across the river there’s about 14 they are very relaxing, sitting outside soaking and watching the sunset What a beautiful picture. There is a mineral water Bathhouse with showers and deep tubs they also have a masseuse. There are campgrounds located across the street but they are not associated with the resort I believe you go on the reserve America website to make reservations. This place is just a gem located in the middle of Sierra national forest. The road is not the best but I hear they will be working on it soon. I did read some of the reviews and giving only three stars because of the road the resort has nothing to do with the road. Everything was just wonderful my family had a great time just being together not always on cell phones or laptops Quality time he’s very important.

I’ve been looking forward to checking this place out for almost a year. Not very many people posted about the road to get there but it’s REALLY rough. We had to split a single lane on a cliff with several cars; pretty nerve racking. That said, the place is beautiful. The resort is charming. All the hot springs were SUPER packed (not social distancing). We hiked around 3 inch mud and were not able to find a space. We decided to pay for the mineral baths at the resort BUT, they charge 7$ per person and you only have an allotted slot of 30 minutes (which is supposed to include your shower and mineral bath) and it’s only from 12-4pm (we got there at 5). I felt the 30 minute slot seemed rushed and it’s a bummer that they stop at 4pm. People are allowed to camp on the road outside for free; they use the store and they use the hot springs too, so when camping you’re really just paying $36 for a campfire. I can see how more adventurous people could enjoy the place but it really just wasn’t for me.

The road in was a little scary but once there very worth It! The cabins were clean and the bed was comfortable and cozy. Great place for a couples get away or for a whole family. Even for a group of friends. The people working treated everyone like an old friend and made us feel welcome. The scenery is California at its best.
