This was a family vacation for Thanksgiving and this home holds a special place in our hearts. After numerous times of visiting this beautiful area. Our family enjoyed the cool fall weather, by hiking through the nearby Brass town falls and Chatooga River which separates Georgia and South Carolina. Another adventure was driving down the mountain on highway 76 also known as Matheson Memorial Hwy in which brings you to Clayton Georgia a small town with alot of character, good restaurants and Tiger winery is a really beautiful sight to see with wonderful wine tasting and ambiance. It is easy to drive into 3 states within an hour. The kids thought that was really neat! This home is comfortable, cozy and spacious surely to give any family a memory to last a lifetime!

This place was amazing! Very clean, good location, and lots of great things to do in the area. We had tons of space, the beds were comfy and it was nice that the house was situated on a large lot for privacy and seclusion. The outdoor fire pit is great, screened porch was nice if it got buggy and everything in the house worked great. The hosts were very responsive and answered every question promptly. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our third stay in the Bunkhouse, and definitely will not be our last! The house and property are gorgeous, the beds/pillows EXTREMELY comfortable, and it’s secluded enough to get the true mountain living experience, while also being just a short drive away from multiple restaurants/stores. Long Creek has so many amazing areas to explore, and the highlight of this trip was Brasstown Falls, which was absolutely stunning, and only a 5 minute drive away. Chanda is a wonderful host! We can’t wait to visit again in a few months!

We very much enjoyed staying several days at the Moresun Bunkhouse, this past October. As soon as we entered, we felt right at home! It was clean, which is extremely important to us! It was very spacious, comfortable, private and relaxing. The decor was charming and the home fit all our needs. The Moresun Bunkhouse is a great option for a stay in Long Creek -- especially if you have a small group (as we did -- four adults who all wanted their own bedroom) or a family that needs room to spread out. This home is well-maintained and nicely decorated, and we appreciated that it was sparkling clean upon our arrival. The kitchen is spacious with a nice size dining table seating six which opens to a good sized living room with comfy couches and chairs perfect for watching something on TV. One of the homes five bedrooms at one end of the home is set up as a combination bedroom/lounge with another TV, right across the hall from another of the bedrooms set up as a bunkroom with a couple bunkbeds (great if you are traveling with children). It is located right down the road from a number of the attractions Long Creek has to offer. The property manager communicated everything we needed to know for a smooth check in and provided a phone number to call if we needed anything. We had a great stay there!
