Mountain Creek is a great ski destination just an hour and a half from NYC. It offers a good variety of slopes and trails, making it a solid choice for skiers of all levels. To get the best experience, I recommend checking the snowfall conditions before your visit.

The pricing is reasonable, with skiing, rentals, and a lift pass totaling around $180—$40 for rentals and $140 for a day pass. Arriving early in the morning is key to avoiding long lift lines, as the first hour tends to be the least crowded.

Overall, a convenient and enjoyable ski spot near the city!

It was my first time ever snowboarding and coming to Mountain Creek. My boyfriend and I did a day trip to getaway from NY for a little bit. I had such a great time learning, and will definitely be back again in the future to learn some more, and hopefully advance to the actual mountain. I rented my equipment with ease, and they help you along the way with any questions you have. Everyone is so polite and made the experience great for a first-timer. Snow tubing was so much fun! The food was also good!

I recently had an amazing time at Mountain Creek! The experience was fantastic from start to finish. Despite the hot day, the slopes were in excellent condition, which made skiing even more enjoyable.

A special shoutout to my instructor, who was incredibly helpful and supportive. Thanks to their guidance, I was able to tackle the diamond black runs with confidence. Their expertise and encouragement made a huge difference in my skiing skills.

Overall, Mountain Creek exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to go back. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced skier, this place has something for everyone. Highly recommend!

Great experience. The gondolas are great for a beginner as you can step on step off. They are also very fast. Much faster than lift. There was plenty of snow but also I've patches. Which will happen with snow boards. It was a bit crowded on a Sunday after snow storm but that's too be expected. My friend got hit hard twice by incoming attendees. I highly recommend wearing a helmet. I did not. Went and bought one the next day

Awful customer service. Everyone is rude and unhelpful. My little brother got stuck skiing in the mountain and we didn’t hear from him for 45 minutes. We asked one worker for help and she could care less. She answered with one answer like “no” and “what” or said I don't know. No concern no care at all and kept scanning other skiers while I was trying to speak to her. The process to get your cards, boot rentals, and skis/equipment is a nightmare. No body gives you clear directions or they don’t even know what to do themselves. They make you walk around in circles. You pay for a period of time and you spend that whole time looking for where to go. Very unorganized. Even the email does not tell you where to go or what to do. The food at the resort is terrible. There’s wet and dry burger buns, the top bun is wet and the bottom is hard. Very few food selections. Pay too much money for terrible food. Even the restaurants around are not good. There was a hair dangling off the blow dryer in the bathroom and some utensils were dirty. Only good things is the rooms were very nice and clean. The instructors in the learning part for skiing and snowboarding were the only kind ones with great energy.

I didn't stay overnight. I've been coming to the mountain for a few years due to close proximity. I usually get the triple play pass as it's very affordable for my son and I. Trails are well groomed, and they have brand new snow making equipment. I went last week during warmer weather. Like anywhere else, it's like skiing on mashed potatoes. Lol. Mountain was empty and had a lot of great runs. Great little mountain.

These pictures are literally like the last days they are open so don't judge by the pictures for what you can normally expect. I've been here during more peak snow months and also for a Spartan race. I think the conditions are usually quite fair for PA/NJ and the resort is pretty nice. Some longer runs for this far south, and close to Jersey City and NYC. They sort of have three distinct peaks and with the trails and lifts you can navigate between them. Pretty far spread from the base of the mountain tho

We read all these bad reviews & we decided we were going anyway; it was a great time!
16 of us all went & had a blast!
Workers were friendly & fun.
The hill was was perfect family fun.
And, yes, we are all adults.
It’s not for the thrill seeker, more family fun!
