My personal experience with Mountain View Adventure Vehicles has been nothing but amazing. Doing a Van build is definitely an undertaking. Doing a Quality van build at the same time takes years and years of knowledge. Couldn’t recommend them more especially if you’re looking for customization and knowledge about electrical systems and quality products and materials. Start to finish in a amazing amount of time.

Since my van was completed, they have moved to a nicer newer facility, which I’ve yet to see but from the photos I have seen it is unbelievably beautiful. Quality vans being built in a quality place. Excuse my bad photos, more to come!

We love m the van we bought from MVAV. We showed up on their doorstep to see a van, purchased it and they got us on the road within 2.5 days with some windows added in the back, paperwork signed and a walk-through of van components. MVAV has been very responsive to questions we’ve had once we had the van on the road.

Nothing but good from this family run operation! Prompt delivery, on schedule, and welcomed spontaneous visits for questions and tutorials. The quality van builds are built to customer specs (accommodates bicycles and other larger gear). The mechanicals for a solar novice like us was a challenge but Greg and Peter got us on track and the systems run like they should. Defective water pump? No problem, a new one installed in our driveway. Sorry to see the poor experience referenced above but I gotta think they got them on a bad moment.

I have had the opportunity to tour and see the operations at Mountain View Adventure Vehicles. I am a camping and off-road hobbyist and the team at MVAV are that & more! They have a unique, family-like approach with their customers or anyone who inquires. I think it is refreshing to see a dealership that has no closed doors and finds joy keeping in touch with those who purchase their vehicles. At its core, the company is a family-owned, family-operated establishment with generations of automotive experience.

What sets MVAV apart is their commitment to energy efficiency and quality. They take pride in working with esteemed vendors to outfit any build with needed accessories. They want their vehicles (especially their new expedition vehicles) to be able to go on uncharted roads & off-grid. This is a big deal in the Overlanding world and they are doing it without sacrificing quality & comfort.

I have been impressed with their dedication to making vehicle camping a quieter experience. The energy-efficient systems they integrate into their builds not only reduce noise that RVs are prone to but also enhance the overall camping experience. Impressively, their vans can come equipped with on board AC, refrigeration, microwaves, induction stoves, water heaters, overhead lighting, and leading edge electronics while hardly being able to hear them. When you work with their team, it’s possible to find the perfect blend of luxury and functionality that fits you.

Mountain View Adventure Vehicles is not a new player in the motorhome or the Overlanding industry. You will not be able to find a smaller, more personable company that competes and obliterates the big guys. Your van or expedition does not have to be just another vehicle, it can be uniquely yours.

I walked into MVAV a couple of years ago on a recommend. After spending three hours with the owner, I walked out knowing that I needed one of their vans. Innovative design, top of the line components, and fabulous build quality are MVAV’s hallmarks. It’s a small, family run operation, but if you are in the market for a Sprinter based travel vehicle, go check out the best on the market.

I strongly recommend AGAINST using Mountain View Adventure Vehicles. I was super excited about shopping around for my van conversion. Being a Tucson native, it was an easy and convenient option to to start with MVAV. Unfortunately my first impression of MVAV didn't inspire confidence, as it began with a phone call to get general questions answered. The lady that answered the phone was unable to answer ANY of the questions I had prepared and instead encouraged my family and I, to stop by the warehouse where we SHOULD be able to get our questions answered. That was not the case.

After taking a tour of the warehouse and seeing some of their builds, we still were unable to get our questions answered. We understood that that MVAV is a family owned business and not everyone is going to be a subject matter expert so we decided to submit an official inquiry with hopes of discussing our build further with someone who is.

This same lady took our contact information and assured us that she will forward our information to her colleague and reach back out to us with a quote. A month had passed and we didn't hear back from them. I took my business' elsewhere and found a van to my liking. There were a couple upgrades and cosmetics I wanted to improve so I decided to contact MVAV again. The same lady answered and greeted me upon arriving. She said I looked familiar but had no recollection of my previous inquiry. She referred me to her cousin whom ended up being the one who drafted up my second inquiry. We exchanged contact information and again, I was promised to hear back from them at a later date with a quote.

It has now been a month and I have not heard back from them yet AGAIN. This is absolutely unacceptable. I don't take kindly to my time being wasted, and the level of unprofessionalism surrounding a service that can cost over $100k is asinine. Fool me once... Shame on you. Fool me twice? I cannot express enough how frustrating this has been, especially now because I'm forced to take my business up to Phoenix with their competitor in "Tommy Camper Vans" who I will say, have been a lot more proactive, and professional about attending to my requests.

They are more cost effective and provide a more versatile service as far as different van builds/options. This is my first ever review submission, that's how strongly I felt about being blatantly disregarded. I really hope to see an improvement in MVAV as they have the potential to sell a quality product, but their customer service is SUBPAR. The level of customer service I received, I would expect from a minimum wage paying service. I would not encourage anyone to spend their hard earned dollars with this company who clearly does not care about their customer's.
