My husband and I had the privilege and pleasure of spending 2.5 weeks in Morocco in the month of November 2023 - traveling to five different locations throughout the country. We were so blessed to have Idriss as our incredible driver. He went out of his way to keep us safe, happy, comfortable - and most of our transitions involved 5-6 hours of driving. Through mountain, deserts etc. Idriss always checked in on us. Put us first in terms of timing - even if it meant waiting in the car for us while we ate our dinner and needed to be driven back to our hotel. Even though Idriss was our driver - and we had guides along the way - he always pointed things out of interest and went above and beyond.

We are very lucky to have been given the experience we did with Idriss and the extended My Moroccan Travel team. THANK YOU!!!

We would like to thank Misty and Mohamed for an unforgettable experience. Misty picked us up at the Rabat airport and this is where the magic started to happen. We were led through seven different cities, from the ocean to the high Atlas Mountains and the Sahara desert. Misty and Mohamed’s knowledge of the local culture and history was so engaging and fun! It was a perfect balance of meticulous planning and spontaneity. We would go back in a heartbeat. Oh the places you’ll go….
Our trip was incredible because Morocco is incredible but also because our guides Misty and Mohammed Aoualou opened it up for us and created a seamless exciting adventure tailored to our interests. Everything was arranged but also very flexible and spontaneous. We could have taken cooking lessons or gone horseback riding or whatever we wanted. Mohamed grew up in Morocco,is a well known amazing musician ( and speaks 15 languages) and he and Misty have been guiding tours for 13 years. Misty is funny and great and super organized and intuitive. It was fun every single day, never awkward, never got tired of traveling with them. ( I don’t know how many other people I could say that about) It was safe. We had a great driver who we loved. There was fantastic music wherever we went. Interesting people. Art. Jewelry. Gardens. Architecture. History. Culture. Beauty. The food was delicious. We stayed in fabulous places. We got to really connect with people and go off the beaten path and experience Morocco in a way I don’t think most people get to. I can’t recommend them highly enough! They are the very best guides.

If you find yourself lucky enough to travel to Morocco, do yourself a solid and book Mohamed as a guide. My boyfriend and I had the best experience with Mohamed on our first trip to Morocco. Mohamed showed us the ins and outs of the Marrakech Medina and new town, gave us some helpful knowledge on the culture and languages spoken, and just overall showed us the best time! Mohamed went above and beyond for us and I am grateful and thankful to have that experience.

The tour guides Misty & Mohammed are nothing short of incredible. They are so thoughtful with the entire experience. Each day and adventure is planned out based on what types of the collective group is interested in doing after having a meeting before the trip happens. They are kind, friendly and helpful. The places are beautiful and we travelled from sea to desert. Each day brought opportunities for growth and new understandings. Not only was the experience seeing a new place fabulous, but doing with Misty & Mohammed made it 100 times better. They are great guides and did a fantastic job creating community within the group. So many memorable nights of dancing, music, sight seeing, exploring the desert on camel, and tasty Moroccan food-the meatball like tajin was my favorite at so many places!
