The tour of the canyon was, as many others have said, truly phenomenal. The rock formations will take your breath away, in many places. Stunning.

Our guide, Dylan (sp?) was friendly, knowledgeable, and took a number of great pictures for us (of us!) in the canyon. He is also their main welder, who has been upgrading the ladders along the way to make things safer. We felt like we were in good hands.

However.... The PROCESS of "checking in," and knowing that we were in the right place, has some room for improvement. Here's what you should know....

We booked online. We arrived on time, at the address provided. We found.... a closed gate, no person, and signs saying "Yes, we're open!". There was also a tattered paper sign on a chair, that said "Drive half a mile down the dirt road, and close the gate behind you ..." With some trepidation, off we went.

We arrived at a parking area, a trailer, a whiteboard, and.... No person. We were early, so we waited and hoped for the best. About 10 minutes later, Dylan came cruising up, explained that he would be our guide, so we hopped in! (I did offer them the feedback that they needed to work on their "customer communications...")

He took us through the desert for about 15 minutes, and we set off on foot through the canyon. BE ADVISED that this is a HIKE. You will have to do some climbing, and there will be a few challenging spots. You need to be in at least "average physical condition.". If you have breathing difficulties or physical limitations, this may be more difficult than you bargained for. (My wife is not in "great shape," and she made it. She loved what she saw, but this really pushed her limits...)

With that in mind, if you can take this tour, you will not be sorry. From what I can tell, they cater to smaller groups (it was just the 2 of us on this one) and the experience really is worth the effort. These are magnificent sights to see!

We had a tour for just the two of us! And we had the canyon to ourselves! LeVander showed us all the good spots to take pictures. We got to climb through tight tunnels (optional), squeeze through narrow spaces - amazing! You have to be careful on some stairs, but they explain the safety in details! Highly recommend!!!

Antelope Canyon has been on my bucket list for a while and I was disappointed to read reviews of a lot of tours being rushed and crowded with people. I had resigned to not doing a tour and exploring another slot canyon on our own in another state, but decided the night before to book with Mystical. I called the morning of the tour and they fit us in. The 10:30am tour was just right with the sunlight coming into the canyon. There is a reason this tour has flawless reviews. It feels personal, private, a really special experience. Our Navajo tour guide Levander was great, he gave us all the time we needed in the canyon and gave us insight into his culture. There were only 5 of us on the tour so we rode in an ATV rather than a wagon, which was a blast. Overall, wonderful experience!

My girlfriend and I took a chance and selected Mystical Canyon over the others, and we were so glad we did. Lester did the tour since the regular guide had the day off. He was full of historical knowledge and made the tour unforgettable. He took time to explain things, unlike the busier canyon tours, which just try to rush you through. We had a group of 8 and met some great people from Germany. We all had a blast! Don't hesitate to go to Mystical. You won't be disappointed, and you'll feel so welcomed!

Wow! What a wonderful experience! It was magical! We were able to take our time as there were not huge crowds pushing us through like the last time when we went to another tour provider. I would definitely recommend this tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared stories from his culture and how the canyons were formed. If I get back this way I will definitely do this tour again?

Amazing and beautiful, I can't adequately describe. And such nice people. Our guide Levander helped with camera settings and photos, as well as sharing the Navajo culture and how it ties into this land. Smaller operation than the ones down the road so had an intimate experience with plenty of time to enjoy and take photos. Highly recommend.

This experience was amazing! I saw someone else's review about it being a small group and a more intimate experience, so then I called to book. It's not touristy. It's Navajo family owned. The lady on the phone was so helpful with directions and information. We have 3 kids, and she even gave me a discount on the youngest. The tour guide was super nice. He shared history of Navajo traditions and culture. He allowed us to take our time, and take pictures. It was truly an uplifting experience. I can see how some say it is a spiritual experience. There is something spiritual about walking through this beautifully shaped canyon that the Creator made for the people. I loved every minute of it, and I'm so thankful that this family has shared their land and stories with us!

What an amazing experience! The canyon is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. Our group was small, we had the canyon to ourselves, and our guide, Levander, was knowledgeable and very kind. He shared a number of stories and information about the canyon and the Navajo. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend this!
