Attended the balloon festival for the second year in a row and recently came back here for another event. The grounds are pretty well-maintained/mowed. I appreciate all the space dedicated to the food trucks and stage. I look forward to coming back. The 3D drone show was a nice touch this year!

If you’re lucky enough to get good weather, don’t miss it for the world! Good food options, great bands, bouncy slides for the kids (best $15 babysitter ever!) and SO MANY AMAZING BALLOONS! Pictures don’t do it justice; it’s just so incredible and fun! A fun night, easy to get to and leave, not expensive, a classic indeed. X

2024 was my first time at the classic and my first ballooning event. I went to crew for a friend and it was a great time. Seeing all the balloons and the drone show was really awesome, will definitely be back next year.

What a great experience! A bucket list item! Majestic balloons right over our heads. Great announcer to explain what's happening. Cheap and handy chair rental. We went in the morning when it was cooler and less crowded and it worked out perfectly.

It was amazing to see all the hot air balloons. We all enjoyed it a lot.
Then we went to leave. What a mess! Some guy was yelling at us and threatening to beat us up because the traffic leaving was so bad. No traffic control in the parking area. Suprised there wasn't an accident or 10. That would be the only reason I wouldn't come back.

Place where annual event in Indianola that features hot air balloons. Nice event for family entertainment.

Bring your own chair or lawn blanket. You can buy food and drinks on the field. (Mostly cool drinks, since this is summer event).

We came here for Knotfest, and it was okay. The vendors were not prepared, but I'm sure it wasn't this place's fault completely. The grounds were very spacious and could fit many people, stands, and bathrooms. Compared to other places I've been to concerts, it's probably average.

I do want to come back for the balloon festival though. That looks like so much fun!

Sooo much fun. The balloons were beautiful in the Thursday night sunset and Train Wreck was right on track. We went back Friday and the weather really challenged the pilots. So glad we were able to see both nights.
