New London Union is a very beautiful station. The interior is spacious as well as the exterior. While you are waiting for your Amtrak or Shoreline East, you can explore the beautiful New London Harbor or see some attractions in the town.

My train was late but Jen is amazing and her customer service is the best out of anyone in the entire New England area. She’s so funny and witty and extremely helpful, I hope she has the best days ever, love her🫶🏼

Pretty station building, but almost everything is off limits. No loitering in the waiting area! No sitting unless you have a train ticket or unless you buy food. No restrooms available, even to passengers.

New London Train station ambiance is very good
Neat clean tidy ,safe ,well managed provides good service to public and friendly staff.
Enquiry desk at train station for train details (on time or delay )
Shop of food and beverage where you can buy burger chips & drinks etc and there is also a technical machine of chips and drink each chips cost $1.25 you can pay by inserting dollars or scan your debit card or credit card
There is a waiting area for people where you can sit if your train is late.
Side of Track no 2 there is beautiful view of Thames river so peaceful ,feels awesome to see.
Mask is required for public transport.
You can book tickets online and very easy to book ticket.for Amtrak you just need to install application Amtrak
When train arrive or depart both time security guard will be there for your comfort.
Your ticket will be check in train by ticket checker.
There is a disinfectant restroom for public.

nice small train station conveniently located close to the ferries and sightseeing cruises... also to a variety of restaurants... lobby is clean and so are the restrooms... did find 2 things to complain about: 1) there are no benches to sit on the northbound track platform, and 2) trash can be found on the water-side of same platform.

Beautiful Train station but desperately needs a modern schedule track arrival/departure bulletin display to inform passengers. The ticket desk with the 1970s sandwich shop menu board aint cutting it.

Excellent station with a large waiting room and plenty of public parking across the street. Hub station for connection to Long Island's ferry to Orient Point. Partial elevated station on one side for boarding on a level surface, but you can board elsewhere as well. Station is always staffed and usually is open to a late time. Front of the building can accommodate arriving buses, and any other vehicle transportation for drop-off passengers. There's an indoor cafe worth visiting also.
