Steve is an exceptionally talented DJ and delightful human! We are so grateful we got to work with Night Music DJ for our wedding this past June.

Working with Steve was effortless... he is so professional, knowledgeable, and fun! He took the time to understand us (we’re weird) and our unique vision... collaborating with us to turn our wedding day dreams into a reality.

We mapped out an “arch of emotion & vibes” through the whole day... and Steve delivered! From setting a welcoming tone as guests arrived, prelude music, cocktail hour, speeches, an inclusive first dance to open the dance floor, Greek dancing, the hora, partying all night, to bringing out the LED foam sticks, Steve not only brought the jams but he also managed the energy so well.

It was magical.

He made sure things went smoothly on the day of our wedding and was able to stick to the timeline while also being flexible to our needs. He helped create such a memorable day for my wife, myself, and all our guests. The dance floor was alive and well the whole night (even people who “don’t dance” got involved)!

The quality of the sound equipment and lighting is top-notch (highly recommend the up-lighting... sets the mood really well). If you are looking for a DJ, we highly recommend DJ Steve! He is the best.

Steve Ransom did a great job DJ’ing our wedding in May. The whole process was organized and professional from start to finish. Night Music has really great forms to fill out to help you plan your music and they were able to get all of the obscure songs my heart desired! I met with Steve to talk through details prior to our wedding and he made sure everything ran smoothly that day. He spoke just enough and was never overbearing. Everything sounded great from the ceremony to the dance floor. Steve can read the room and play songs that resonated with the generations out there dancing. I am very happy with our experience and would highly recommend Night Music (and especially Steve) to anyone needing a professional DJ. We couldn't recommend Night Music DJ enough! We were introduced to Night Music at my cousins wedding prior to our engagement. Jodi was attentive, kind, easily got the crowd's attention, not to mention the most important part, the music was fantastic! Not your typical wedding music playlist. When it was finally time to book our DJ Night Music was the only option in my opinion. We experienced the same professionalism throughout the planning process! Jodi was so open to our opinions, was extremely thorough while asking questions and understanding our vibe through each part of the wedding. We received SO many compliments through the evening and even after that it was the best wedding DJ they had ever seen and we feel the same way! A wedding DJ can make or break the reception and we are so glad we invested in Night Music DJ!

To start with, Jodi and Steve are both absolutely amazing. I initially had trouble finding a DJ. At the time, I knew to book things like venues and photographers early, but no one told me that just about every aspect of the wedding should be booked out as far in advance as possible, including DJs. The search was rough and I was getting pretty desperate, but luckily, I mentioned this to a friend who was also getting married only a month or two before ours. I am still so grateful for that conversation, because they recommended Night Music DJ and I ended up with the best experience I could have asked for.

Jodi was a gem, from the planning to the night itself. She talked us through it and offered helpful solutions when it came to a few dilemmas with the parent dances. She completely rolled with it when I came to her with a halfhearted idea to play the jeopardy theme for our “one minute to snap a shot” timeframe during our unplugged ceremony. She also helped us talk through logistics of including an anniversary shout out/first couples dance to my husband’s grandparents as their 65th anniversary was only a few days short of our wedding. And then the night of, she shone the brightest. Nothing felt awkward. She helped us corral the crowds when it came to seating, food, cake. Everything. She kept the energy of the night flowing perfectly and politely shooed everyone out when it came time for our private last dance. When I say that there isn’t a single person who I could be more thankful to on our day than her, I mean it.

Steve was just as amazing. He ended up being our photobooth attendant and was so incredibly great with the guests. We had a guest photo book for our guests to paste their pictures into with a short message and he took it upon himself to help that process along all night.

All in all, we are so happy that we ended up with Night Music DJ. They’re pleasant, professional, and aren’t afraid to help offer suggestions when you’re fretting about something for the millionth time and just need someone to talk it out with. Jodi and Steve, this review might be INCREDIBLY late, but thank you. From the bottom of our hearts. You were both fabulous.

Steve was absolutely awesome!! He made the entire process seamless and everyone had nothing but positive things to say about him after our wedding reception. From our initial call, I always felt like he understood what we were aiming to do and he was very flexible with our schedules. I also knew we were in good hands when he was excited about the extensive list of songs we sent over as he was thrilled we had so much input and always encouraged us to make it our own. He read the room well and had an incredible expertise of balancing when to speak up. We can't say enough good things and would highly recommend.

Steve and Jodi were so nice and easy to work with. Everyone at our wedding loved them. Steve did a great job of getting the party going and keeping it going! They have a very easy process and system in place to make sure you get all the music played at your ceremony/wedding exactly when you want it! And Steve is also great at matching the energy in the room and playing songs he can tell that people on the dance floor will enjoy. I have zero regrets going with them for my wedding - so many guests were complimenting me after the wedding about how great the music was and the energy that came along with it. Steve also has a nice voice and is very interactive with the guests.

Jodi was the most amazing DJ for our wedding! She was so perceptive and responsive during the wedding! For example, my daughter toasted us and referenced "Gilmore Girls" in her speech. Jodi heard this and responded with music from the show. This was not a single instance, there were times throughout the evening where songs that she knew we would love and find special were included.

Jodi was also helpful in making announcements to prepare guests for what was coming and getting them to the location so nobody missed anything. She was completely focused on making our evening exactly what we wanted.

I would highly recommend Night Music DJ Professionals! From the initial planning to the many questions both my fiance and I asked, Jodi was always helpful, kind, and receptive. Everyone had a wonderful time and Jodi was instrumental in making that happen!
