This is an excellent place to get the real horse riding experience! Alan and Teresa are so friendly and welcoming and happy to accommodate the needs of any level rider. I’m very timid on and around horses but they are so patient and helpful. It was really cool to experience the Arizona desert this way. I truly look forward to going back again.

A great place to ride that’s more customized. The guide (Alan) was very knowledgeable of the area. Easy going and concerned about safety first he will pick trails to suit a rider’s ability. Whether it’s walk, trot or lope you will definitely have a memorable experience.

Nine Trail Horse Ranch provides horseback riders the ability to explore Sahuarita’s deserts under the wonderful trail guide, Alan. All horses are very friendly and easy to handle for riders with moderate experience. Rides usually range from one to two hours, but it is all up to the group riders. This includes the pace and distance. Alan is also willing to allow people to take the time to get to know a horse to solidify a bond between horse and rider. After my 10th visit, I had solidified a lasting bond with Soleil. He is my go to mount every ride now, which gives me the feeling of having my own horse without the expense of boarding. If you are looking for a vacation stop, a weekend ride, or a lasting bond between you and a horse, this is the place to go! Perhaps we will even meet! - Brandee W.
