On day 2 of a 4 day stay, and I absolutely can’t overstate how incredible this experience has been thus far. I was afforded an opportunity to ride in a 1925 model T, given a list of absolutely great things to see and experience and this cabin has been a great treat. I highly HIGHLY recommend. In every possible way. Nancy has been extremely helpful and accommodating. Please consider this a place to visit.

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location by a little lake. The cabin has all the amenities you need if you’re staying for longer trips as well. Me and two of my friends stayed there and we had a great time! Nancy is a fantastic host attentive, sweet, and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Fairbanks or North Pole.

Nancy was an awesome host! She provided information on places to see and do while we were even staying in Fairbanks before arriving at the north pole. She provided information on excursions to do with different companies as well as activities and the best places to see the aurora borealis. She provided this information months ahead of time so we had time to do some research and had a plan when we arrived.
We stayed at other places while in Alaska, but Nancy was the only host that provided information ahead of time which was so valuable planning our stay.
She even sent a text message when we had a couple moose standing on our front porch of the cabin we were in.
Very convenient location to go ice fishing, dog sledding, and an awesome trip to see an ice cave that went through a glacier.

It's a cute cabin in the woods (really half a cabin) and the owner, Nancy, went out of her way to help us out. The cabin is divided into 2 units, each has a main room, bathroom, kitchen facilities and a loft. The side we stayed in was very comfortable. The kitchen is small but functional with a full stove, mini fridge and sink and cooking utensils. The cabin sits on a small lake and wildlife abounds. Nancy went out of her way to help my daughter and I when my husband had an accident and I will be forever grateful. The loft has a queen size bed along with the one on the main floor- both were very comfortable. The loft is best for younger people who don't have a problem with ladders. It worked great for us. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet, scenic place to stay with a great host - it's secluded but close to the highway and Fairbanks. Thanks Nancy!

We spent 10 nights in this quaint cabin in North Pole, Alaska. This cabin is about 11 miles from Fairbanks where split our time between Fairbanks and North Pole. Nancy made sure our cabin was comfortable and clean and that we had everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. The kitchen made it easy to cook meals. Lots of warm water in the shower for those really cold nights. A plug for the rental car was provided as it was -34 when we arrived. We only needed the lower sleeping quarters, but there is a bedroom upstairs in the loft. We were so impressed by the cabin and it's location that we hope to make another trip soon.

The cabin was really cute, clean and well equipped. Nancy, the host, was amazingly friendly. We had an opportunity to “live like a local” and truly enjoyed our visit to North Pole! We used the cabin as a base to explore the North Pole and Fairbanks area.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and the experience was nothing less than incredible. The Lake was frozen behind the cabin and let us get the best pictures of the Northern Lights. We even rented a stay at a lodge 25 miles north and our pictures at the cabin were still better.

At worst, the walls may be a bit thin but we never found it to be an issue. We even made friends with the neighbors and brought them along for pictures at Chena Lake!
