We had a wonderful time rafting! Our guide Bill was so great and knowledgeable. We were the only group of the day and OARS could have easily told us that they couldn't take us out, but they didn't. For that we were so grateful. It was easily the highlight of our entire trip, and we had so many. Thank you again for an AMAZING memory! We plan to go back one day.

We had an absolute blast on our white water rafting trip down the South Fork American River! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enjoyable. Our guide, Andrew, was phenomenal—knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel completely safe throughout the entire journey. We had a fantastic trip with Oars on the American River. Our guide James was wonderful, steering us capably and with good humor for two days, as well as cooking up delicious meals for us! We had a great time on our two day OARS trip of the south fork. We stayed with EarthTrek adventures and it was the perfect riverside glamping accommodations complete with meals and showers as well. Our guides (we were a large group in two boats) Ryan and Justin were both wonderful and well informed. Highly recommend!

We rafted the South Fork on American River. OARS staff were great in every aspect - reservation, check in, guide, lunch, and transportation. Special thanks to our river guides, Arlee and Mike. The afternoon portion with rapids was super fun, and my son (13 yr old) said "it's the best 5 miles of my life!". Since it was 95F, it was also nice to dip in water and float a bit. Picnic lunch (sandwiches and fruits) was perfect! We would love to go back again!

We had a beautiful morning on the river. I’ve been rafting on at least 10 rivers with different companies. OARS was incredibly organized and ensured a great experience. Alex was our guide and she was friendly, knowledgeable and very safety conscious. Loved the whole experience

Had an absolute blast this weekend white water rafting with OARS! It was my first time, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The rapids were exciting, definitely challenging for a beginner, but incredibly fun. Our guide, Bill, was fantastic. He kept us informed, safe, and even managed to keep the mood light after our raft flipped on Tunnel Chute (don't worry, we all got back in safely!). The water was refreshingly cold and crystal clear, a perfect way to cool off on a 96 degree day day. Big thanks to OARS and especially Bill for making this a truly unforgettable experience! I highly recommend them for anyone looking for an adrenaline rush on the water!
