DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.

This business ruined my 50th birthday celeberation. I found this business on Yelp and thought it was legitimate from the few reviews it had, so I took a chance and booked them for my event. However, I should have known better, we never agreed on a location for pick up and there was never a contract signed (which benefits the business). When I made my deposit the owner assure me that the event was set all I had to do was put a deposit of $1200. Two weeks prior to my event, the owner contacted me to inform me that he had to cancel due to an inspection by the USCG. According to the USCG there are no inspections done on a Saturday specially in the evernings, inspections are typically done with plenty of notice to the boat owner. It took 3 weeks to get my deposit, and only after several texts to the owner who was not resposive, as a last resort, I submitted a claim to my credit card company. Eventually I did get my deposit. I believe this business canceled on me so that he could book someone else, which is very unprofessional and poor business practices. Happy Sailing!

The owner Mario is the best in the business and I would highly recommend the odyssey yacht charter for anyone and everyone. Mario is very flexible and will work with you to make every occasion perfect. He is very responsive and professional. He really just wants to make sure you and your friends have a good time. Great time to be had on the water. Odyssey is a family owned yacht that comfortably handles 40 passengers and the owner is incredibly accommodating. They will take you on tours of the harbors or you can go to Catalina Island and stay overnight if you like. They will pick you up at their home port at 22nd Street Landing in San Pedro or anywhere you want from Marina Del Rey to Newport Beach. Fishing, Snorkleing, Scuba Diving, Dancing, Kareoke or just watching the whales migrate on by. Odyssey is an affordable escape from LA if only for a few hours or all weekend.

The crew is AMAZING!!! Very nice boat, and it was the PERFECT way to spread my husband's ashes!!
