The officer wouldn't reply to my email until I sent a follow-up email. They didn't get any satisfying responses from the city agency I complaint about. I sent one inquiry and then two responses to the agency's ridiculous replies and the officer became extremely reluctant to forward my new follow-up inquiries. I believe it's better to sue the agency for FOIL violation rather than seeking help from the Comptroller's office.

These people are a joke, they pick and chose, I presented a case of corruption against the DMV and they just said that the comptroller decided to not go through with it, today I read that the comptroller lied about paying tickets to the DMV!!! Today I understand how deep the corruption is in this city.

I filed a claim for property damage almost 2 months ago as of today. I got an email that my claim was received and was assigned to an agent! I called and emailed the person for an update and have yet to hear anything! They will refund me my money for property damages to my car! People pay too much money to have their cars destroyed because of incompetent officials who do not care to make sure that construction is completed within a timely manner. Next step will involve me going there in person. I don't have time to waste

After reading the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the treatment I received. Here’s how you get results; download the proper forms on their website, fill out the appropriate forms, have it notarized, go to Rm 1217 to have someone check the forms if this is your first time. Be patient, they are very short staffed. Proceed to Room 1225 to submit your claim (make sure you have a copy for yourself). They take the documents and date stamp them as proof of submission. I was told the process will take approximately 2-3 weeks for a response. Make sure you’re there before 5:00pm. I’ll post updates as I get them. I also tried calling on the phone 4X and didn’t get an answer, instead, I get a recording to leave a message.

This department is complete garbage. They don't pick up your call, they don't give you the actual damage price, they take their time to respond, they lie by saying ok my boss is in vacation right now and next time you call, they don't pick up the phone and later on they say I was in vacation. Come on registered liar, you can't play with normal people. We have so many things to do. You get paid for laying but we suffer a lot for that. You deserve 0 star.

I am highly frustrated by the lack of communication these “claim examiners” provide. Their salaries are paid by the tax payers and they have zero respect for their responsibilities. No one in this office cares to return your calls and e-mails. They only want their paychecks and do no provide any real value. When you ask for a supervisor they ignore your requests. NYC needs to hire new employees to staff this office immediately.

Stop Congestion Pricing. It is a tax punishing the middle class and the Poor. MTA needs to address fare evasion problem adequate infrastructure. In addition MTA spending ought to be audited.

No response to phone messages , no response to emails. No response period , filed claim last June after being hit by Dept of Sanitation vehicle. Submitted all the required documentation as well as dept of sanitation police report . Why is it so hard to respond and communicate.
