This was a great experience and recommend if you are able to do a sail with Matthew. Prior to going out, We were sent information with directions and where to meet along with details of what and what not to bring/expect. We went right to the yacht and got settled- rose and hors d’oeuvres served and on our way. Went through the marina and saw sea lions and then out to sea. The ride was smooth and then set up to sail. Had great conversation with Matthew. Great and accommodating to having a curious 3 year old on board as well. Would definitely do again!

We booked a sunset sail with Matt and his beautiful boat on a recent trip to Los Angeles and it was an absolutely awesome and amazing experience. The sail was very peaceful and we saw such a beautiful sunset. I would definitely do this again and would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic sail with Captain Matthew! We did a 6 hour loop up to Malibu and around the Marina with a few friends to celebrate a birthday. Beautiful boat! Captain Matthew was an excellent host - provided stories, wine, and delicious hors d'oeuvres. He was also a true champ with my two friends who got sea sick. Highly recommend Captain Matthew and the fabulous Prima Stella for your LA sailing adventure.

Great experience sailing with Matthew! Went out on a Sunday morning and got some beautiful weather. Saw many Sea Lions as well as a hugeee pod of dolphins that made our entire trip! Great for groups of 2-4.

The sailing prep and expectations are helpful for locals and visitors alike. Capt Matthew was very welcoming so it was easy to cast off and get a sail up as soon as conditions allowed. His sailboat Prima Stella is lovely and the sailing is relaxing and invigorating with memorable sea views. We saw playful dolphins all around the sailboat and a show stopping sunset. What more could you want? Wait for it...fresh gourmet apps and paired rose wine bring this sailing experience above and beyond other sailing excursions I've have in the LA area. This is perfect for date night, for foodies or a photo shoot, and for entertaining clients. The vibe is chill yet professional and entertaining. Captain Matthew is exactly who you want at the helm! He's serious about sailing, funny, personable and reassuring the make sailors of all experience levels feel safe. My friend and I finished a work meeting under sail and came back refreshed and ready for more. Loved our sunset sail and I'll definitely book another one with Old Plank Adventures! I did a lot of online searching before choosing this adventure. I booked a three hour afternoon sail for my husband`s birthday. And I could not be happier with the result! The reviews turned out to be very accurate. Everything was just great! Directions and parking instructions were easy and helpful. The róse and appetizers were delicious.

Sailing experience is so differing from a motor boat. It is quiet and relaxing. Nothing districts you from just feeling the ocean waves. We were lucky to see dolphins! We had a great time and we will be back for the whale season. I highly recommend Old Plank Sailing Adventures!

Out of the ordinary memorable experience with Captain Mancini! We had the seadoo experience and got to see hundreds of dolphins around us. Unbeatable experience in LA. Captain Mancini was a great guide and true gentleman giving us good tips for the rest of our trip.
