I stayed at the Pacific Blue Inn because I wanted to see a show down the street at The Catalyst and not have to drive home to SF afterward! (The shoe was The Hu - amazing band!!!) Anyway, it was the smartest thing ever! It's an easy walk to The Catalyst, and there are lots of food options nearby. My room was on the ground floor near the elevator, but it was still very quiet and peaceful! The room was very clean and comfortable, and I slept awesome. The staff was super friendly, and there was parking available. I will absolutely stay here again if I want to see shows at The Catalyst (or if I want to just visit Santa Cruz again overnight).

The hotel was very convenient in location and the customer service was amazing!!! I loved the simplicity of it all and the rooms were very clean and we'll furnished. It was odd there was no mini fridge and the ice didn't work for the small ice bucket. We loved the coffee options in the lobby and treats. The place was quiet and it's a great place for overnight trips.

Wanted to like it more. The room was well furnished. The biggest issue was noise. We had normal windows but above those we had these tiny windows over 7 feet off the ground we could not shut. That means I could hear all kinds of garbage or construction trucks at 6am, a neighbor pounding on a door at 7am and another neighbor having a loud conversation in the courtyard at 8am. I had one of the worst nights of sleep I’ve ever had at a hotel or inn.

Free coffee and tea. The bed was comfortable and the room as a whole was 7/10. No tub, no refrigerator but everything else was perfect. Thank you

Positive: Loved the room - large, comfortable, and on the ground floor (easy in and out for my dog). Negative: Paying for parking - I understand that most places do charge, but for a 3-star I would think it would be included. Also, there was no staff on duty - it worried me a bit, as a woman traveling alone if something were to happen, even though a #was posted. Negative: ""

First appearance was colorful flowers growing around the entranceway to a well-maintained townhouse style building . We were Immediately met by the owners, who were down to earth and very accommodating. The room rates were lower than expected. It was a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were very clean, spacious, modern… The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location was perfect as it was walking distance to the downtown restaurants and shops, as well as to the beach/boardwalk area. Parking was also. available. Homemade snacks made for guests during the day, fresh ground coffee machine available 24 hrs. and many other personal touches. I highly recommend the Pacific Blue Inn.

This is a great place. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy , the staff are super friend, it’s quite and there are tables outside your room to have your morning coffee. This is a great gem of a place to stay. The only down side is I wish they had a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cool but for this hotel there is no way I could fault them on it because it’s just an amazing place to stay. I will stay here again next time we come to Santa Cruz

We really enjoyed our long weekend at this little Inn. Excellent location, easy walking to downtown or the wharf. Lots of places to eat nearby. Surface lot parking if needed (be sure to reserve). Clean, comfortable room. Ours had a little fireplace. Private courtyard with a fire table made for a nice setting to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. All of our interactions with staff were great. Special shout out to Alondra for making our arrival very easy and welcoming. We will happily stay here again.
