We had the most amazing wedding at the Palace Event Center. Craig was so easy to work with and helped make our dream day run so smoothly. He truly has the best in mind for his clients and helped make our day turn out exactly how we wanted it to. The venue is so gorgeous which is a testament to Craig and his staff. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have our wedding reception at the Palace Barn & highly recommend this venue!!

Where do I even begin?!
We booked Palace Event Center a year and a half before our wedding, and Craig was supportive, kind and helpful every step of the way. He answered all my emails, calls and texts with a happy tone and never made me feel like I was bothering him.
From buying the specific liquor for our signature drink, helping with the slideshow during the first dances, helping us steam our dresses, and SO MUCH more- Craig and his staff were amazing.
The kitchen is great for caterers, and the buffet room was able to accommodate our large wedding. We had 220 people through the line and eating in 25 minutes.
Something I really loved about this venue is their mission of sustainability. All the reusable tableware & glasses were nice quality, and the hand dryers in the bathroom are powerful! I thought this not only added extra class to the venue, but I greatly appreciate the effort to cut down on waste of one-time-use paper and plastic products.
The chairs and head tables are absolutely beautiful and don’t even need linens! The floor is heated and was very comfortable for our winter wedding. The bar staff was quick and friendly, and the bridal suites are an absolute dream. I don’t even think I need to comment on the beauty of the venue, because the pictures speak for themselves. Our guests were blown away and we are still getting compliments on how breathtaking the venue was three weeks later!
Every little detail of this venue is thoughtful, even down to the Bath & Body Works soaps in the women’s restroom. We had the most perfect day, and everything went off without a hitch. Literally, nothing went wrong all day!!

The Palace was the picture perfect spot for our wedding, we couldn’t ask for a better space. From our first tour, we were greeted with margaritas, smiles and the sweetest hugs from Penny. Beyond the obviously beautiful space, she was a huge reason we booked the venue. We will forever be grateful for the excitement and comfort she shared with us at the beginning of our wedding planning journey.

The day of our wedding, we felt very supported by Craig and his staff. They were kind, cooperative with vendors and helpful to my wedding party and I. The building is gorgeous inside and out, at no point did we feel like something was missing (except maybe outdoor heaters, but that’s on us for having an outdoor ceremony on Dec. 31st in Iowa😅).

We can’t imagine spending our big day anywhere else- we are so grateful!

This venue is top-notch for soo many reasons. It is unique and beautiful, and very well maintained. The absolute best part of this venue though is the owners. Penny & Craig are so kind, responsive and helpful throughout the wedding planning process and on your special day. We cannot recommend them enough!

This venue is beautiful. Aside from the aesthetic, the venue owner, Penny, is simply a wonderful, kind person to work with. I have photographed weddings here multiple times and each time a new couple books me to photograph here I get so excited! Here are some things you should know about the venue. 1. The front entrance is a show stopper. When your guests get here, they are immediately going to think WOW. 2. The ceremony area overlooks huge rolling hills. It's gorgeous and set up so guests can see you perfectly. 3. Margaritas on tap? Yes, please. 4. The bridal suite is such a fun and beautiful environment. 5. The men's getting ready area is a little bit on the small side if you're having lots of guys in there, but it is stocked with TVs so you can have any game on and the loft space really makes up for it and allows your wedding party to hang out in a larger area. 6. When Penny offers up the Penny-mobile. Say Yes! She has an 8 seater golf cart and will drive you around to the BEST sunset picture location.

Truly can't say enough about this gorgeous venue. I love photographing here.

WOW! A totally unique venue that you won't forget. Beautiful sunsets, a classy, spotless, professional venue that will impress everyone.

The venue was warm and cozy on a cold February night. The dance floor was fantastic as were the acoustics. The music filled the venue, but tables were still able to have conversations without having to yell.

Penny and Craig have real vision and one can tell they love what they are doing! Can't wait to return.
