Great, old-timey fun for all ages. A family experience, for sure. I only wish they would be open longer than a couple weeks a year.

Had a great field trip day at Parker Pioneer Homestead. Definitely a glimpse of the past. Especially liked the little shop with bottled sodas and old fashioned candy. Lots of other items available in another little shop nearby. People were friendly. Pretty land too!

Absolutely recommend taking a trip to Parker Homestead. Great representation of the history of life and farming in the Mississippi River Delta. The people volunteering care about the history and do a wonderful job of representing it.

Saw how life may have been lived menu years ago. Glad life is easier now days but, I do wish the good ol days would come back around.

I'm not well versed in what this place actually is, but for $8 per adult you can view blacksmithing, broom making, molasses making, talks about outhouses, buy kettle corn, etc. This place is CASH ONLY and there is very little cell signal.

Out of everything, we enjoyed the blacksmith the most. It was educational and something about watching someone reshape metal is oddly satisfying. We left fairly early since we were hungry and the lines had grown to colossal sizes as multiple schools had field trips that day.

There are sodas and some limited snack options available, but I highly recommend bringing your own food or eating afterwards.
