Researching how to safely travel to countries with high risks of dangerous diseases is really difficult! Passport Health take all the guesswork out of which vaccines to get, but they are so much more. Ginny at the PH Fairfield location gave me a comprehensive run down of what to expect in Tanzania and tips to stay healthy and safe. I received advice on mosquito protection, water habits to adopt, as well as my shots. You might want to shop around for some of the common vax like HepA/B, but Passport Health carry all the hard to find protection such as Typhoid and Cholera. Fully recommend.'

BEWARE! SCAM! This place should be shut down for misrepresenting information and misrepresenting themselves as a business. This is predatory, especially towards people who don’t have experience traveling internationally. I was told there was a “polio outbreak” where I am traveling (Bali)- there were 4 cases from 2022-23 CAUSED by the vaccine in rural areas of Indonesia. I was also told that the daughter of the dentist working in the building died from Japanese encephalitis while studying abroad in Indonesia after refusing the vaccine. Terrible if this is a true story but statistically only 1% of people infected develop encephalitis. Additionally, tried to upsell products during the appointment. The quote for my vaccinations came out to over $3,300! Extremely uncomfortable situation under the ruse of being a trusted authority for medical travel information. I hope this saves others time and money.

Update: I travelled abroad extensively in SE Asia, including very secluded areas/jungles with plenty of bugs. I did not get sick. Nobody traveling with me got sick. We didn't even hear of anyone who got sick (minus typical travelers stomach). Totally fine if you're someone who wants to go the extra mile for protection. Not fine to fear-monger and pressure people into spending thousands on unnecessary vaccines. All the information you need is FREE at a local health department and many vaccines are free with insurance.
