The Pella Opera House was the perfect venue for Hearts for Hospice 2025. As we brought back a beloved event after a several-year hiatus, we were able to do it in big band fashion, using every space the Opera House has to offer. From the welcoming lobby to the spacious dining hall to the gorgeous theater and lobby areas, we used this historic Pella icon to its full potential and loved every minute. The Opera House staff were delightful to work with, making sure that every question was answered and every detail was covered. They were great to brainstorm with as well, as they have seen it all done in their space! I highly recommend Pella Opera House for any event--big or small.

We held our daughter's wedding reception at the Opera House. Every detail was perfect, and the staff was professional and accommodating of our requests. The Bridal Suite was lovely and perfect for the bride and her bridesmaids to prepare for the wedding. Cindy was wonderful to work with, and the price of the rental was very reasonable. What a hidden gem. 🥰

We reserved the Bridal Suite at the Pella Opera house for my niece's wedding shower. It was perfect and our guests loved the beautiful and unique space. We utilized the long table in the "dressing area" for our food and it worked perfectly. We had 17 people at the shower and there was the perfect amount of seating for everyone. The console table under the mirror was a great location for the beverages. Cindy was amazing to work with and answered all of my numerous questions as I was planning this event from out of state. She responded immediately and ensured that every detail was taken care of. I would definitely recommend the Pella Opera house for your event - the staff was amazing!

I brought a group of 50 ladies to Pella for a girls day out! We rented the gorgeous Opera House where we socialized, enjoyed a delicious catered meal by the College, learned all about the history of the Opera House and enjoyed listening to the beautiful sounds of the organ! Cindy Robbins was amazing to work with and she made our Ladies Day outing extra special!

The Pella Opera House was such a great venue for our June 2024 wedding that all our guests enjoyed. Being able to host our ceremony and reception in the same place was lovely. Pella is such a beautiful town and is very picturesque. Cindy Robbins was an amazing venue coordinator. Her communication and attention to detail made the whole process as seamless as possible. She was able to recommend our caterer and give feedback and suggestions on other vendors. Not to mention the venue is so affordable for what you’re getting.

Went there a few days ago with my husband to a concert. It was such a high energy concert that the guests were dancing in the aisles. It was a very fun place to go and I look forward to future concerts there.

Jo was super helpful the day of our wedding as well as for the preparations the day before. Our guests really enjoyed the Pella Opera House and the beautiful Pella town square.
