If you read a lot of the reviews, they’re really bad but over memorial weekend I stayed here Friday, Saturday and Sunday checking out Monday and here is my experience. First off for the location it was great. It was super close to the event that I wanted to go to. I was able to walk to different food spots with my kids and I really liked the ease of transportation as for the hotel in General it’s definitely older. It could use some updates and with an old building it Definitely needs a deep Cleaning. I wouldn’t say that the hotel is bad. It’s just old. The room was really Big I had the one with two queen beds. The paint for the doors was chipping off, but overall the room was fine. It looks like it had been updated. Probably quite a few years ago, but the AC worked great. The floors were clean. The beds were clean the bathroom was definitely old in need of upgrades, but I would stay there again. I think that people need to realize that for a hotel that’s old there is a difference between being absolutely disgusting and rundown and just being old and in need of updates and a deep cleaning, the staff was very friendly. The ladies that clean the rooms were really nice to my kids and I always saying hi. The front desk was nice and responsive. I enjoyed my weekend here. I was hesitant on the reviews at first, but after being here for the last few days, I would say that if you keep an open mind and you’re not expecting a five star resort when you get there the hotel is fine. It’s great for the money. Great location nice people

Not sure what people are expecting, when you book a budget hotel. But it's clean very well positioned for cruise terminal. The pool is out of service but all in all very nice for the money you pay. If you want 5 star please don't book 2 star. Would stay again|

Positive: This hotel has a great location if you are going on a cruise or an excursion. You can also leave your car at the hotel for a week at a cheaper price than parking at the cruise terminal. The beds were clean but not the hotel itself. Negative: From the pictures, we actually thought it was a nicer hotel than it is.

Our room was clean, we saw no bugs or roaches and we felt safe. I'm not sure what else to expect from a budget hotel room. Staff was friendly, and vending machine prices were good ($1.75 for 20oz soda) Rooms are definitely dated. Some things are broken. The whole building needs to be updated for sure. This is a get what you pay for situation. Expectations are not high when booking one of the cheapest hotels in town. One night here before a cruise is just fine. They deserve better than the 2.2 star rating they currently have on here.

Hotel itself an old Motel 6 definitely needs a serious renovation, curtains are old and nicotine stained & bathroom has rust and wall pieces falling off, old & stained washcloth left behind in closet.|Other than that, was happy to get a fairly decent early check in, and my room 107 had a mini refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Hot water comes up quickly which is a plus in my eyes. Room itself is spacious, and waterfront.|My main reason for this property is the close proximity to the cruise port, easily walkable with 1 piece of luggage.

I hate to leave a bad review because the gentleman at the desk was very nice, but this place is very grimy. The hallway and room smelled terribly of mildew and the bathroom was disgusting (not to mention that the toilet seat was not even secured fully so we had to hover). We didn't dare shower here and had to keep the window open to 'air out' the odor. At $130 per night- I definitely would not call this a budget hotel. The beds seemed clean; but the floors, bathroom, and window/drapes; not so much. We booked here because it is near the port for our cruise and the pics online looked great. Very deceiving! Please save your money

Not really a good place other than location. The room smelled like dirty shoes, the AC unit had seen better days, the door was scratched and marked up. We had to open the windows to get some air in. And yes we checked the bed. It was clear. Just not a place I’d recommend to my worst enemy.

Never again will I stay at this place ! This was the word I have ever seen , after checking in at 8.30pm I went into my upgraded king suite room . The room was big but floor dirty hair everywhere old wrapper from suppository next to a chair no tissue in the bathroom only few tiny soaps in wrapper,shampoo and conditioner tubes no lotion. In the shower there was an old soap left in soap holder and hair in the corners . One ceiling light broken curtains broken , walls half painted , no rod to hang my clothes only two hangers in the shelf and one nail in the shelf probably for the hangers who knows . Bed had sheets and no blanket only extra shiny top sheet I was freezing in the middle off the night and tell you the truth was scared to turn the heat on. If I wasn’t exhausted from traveling all day I would try to find another place to sleep.
