Wonderful experience. It was our first experience with a party planner so we were very nervous and worried about details. Chitra was very patient and professional no matter how much we bothered her. Her attention to detail and hard work made the event a huge success. She is very resourceful and doesn't bother you with details unless she has to. We look forward to working with her again.

Chitra put together a spectacular sweet sixteen party for my daughter. My daughter had a vision of what she wanted and Chitra went above and beyond in making that vision a reality. We provided colors and design direction and Chitra transformed this information into beautiful decor and wonderful ambiance. She had great ideas which made the party engaging for all ages; games, party favors, memory wall... She handled all the planning and logistics very professionally. She found us a location/caterer, photo booth vendor, DJ, baker, and balloon vendor all in the price range we were targeting and all vendors met or exceeded expectations. We also decided to hire a makeup artist relatively last minute and she was able to find a wonderful person at the price point we wanted to come to our home and make us all beautiful. Chitra handled all negotiations/communications with the vendors which, as a full time working single mother, was so appreciated. She was also super responsive to any concerns/questions/thoughts we had - any text messages were answered immediately and emails within less than 24 hours. Chitra's efforts resulted in a flawless party. All of our friends and family had a blast, shared laughter & tears, and couldn't say enough about what an amazing job she did. Most importantly, my daughter had a huge smile on her face all night and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, Chitra!

50th bday event, wine theme, at a local restaurant. It was perfect. We met with Chitra a few times at the site of the venue to explain the look/feel we wanted (elegant/understated, not old/stodgy) and she did an amazing job bringing our vision to life!

We decided to put together a wedding within 3 months, responsibly ensuring precautions are taken with current county health orders. It was not a lot of time to put together a hybrid live-streamed micro-wedding outdoors. All the elements of a regular big wedding still needed to be planned for, minus the large order of food for guests, but throw in outdoor streaming and November cold weather elements while keeping tabs of people on the property for the day's flow of events. It all happened beautifully and we could not have been happier with Chitra's planning and coordination. She has an eye for detail and helped ensure all the tidbits one might forget were worked into the day. We loved her style of communication, very responsive, like you made a friend along the way. She is on top of her game in communication with other vendors and tactfully and timely relayed anything that might need the couple's time or attention. If something was out of sorts, she was on it. Her recommendations throughout planning worked very well. We breathed easier knowing we had someone like Chitra there for us through the planning and day of the wedding. As you can tell, we became a fan, and so glad we found her for our wedding.

I’m very familiar with Precious Designs and Events’ works.
Their main event planner Chitra has created and managed many parties at my son’s school as well as other parties that I have attended such as birthdays, graduations, and weddings. She did an excellent job organizing and decorating as well as selecting the best vendors and staying under the budget.
I highly recommend them.

Precious Designs and Events is a young company and we were initially hesitant to work with them for our event. However our fears were unfounded. Right from the beginning, Chitra made us comfortable and her years of experience planning events soon became evident.
Chitra is a gem to work with. She is meticulous to the very last 'T' yet flexible enough to address last minute suggestions.
We've already done two events with her and look forward to many more!
