Friendly helpful staff. Rates seem good, car insurance rates are average to slightly lower than other places. Homeowners is really good. But it's the local office location and helpful friendly staff that keep me here. It's just nice

There was damage to my grandmothers roof recently. During a storm water was pouring in through damaged section of roof...
First, the inspections process was bid out to 2 different companies. Never handled by R J themselves.
R J insurance was contacted several times, they were unsure who was even handling claim..When a 3rd part expert made it to the house, she lied saying " A tech will be out soon, because I cannot figure this out myself. The "experts" could not find damage or leak. Even putting "inspector" on roof and in attic space.
2 more weather events happened. More damage. Family placed tarps to mitigate further damages while waiting on reply..
Almost 2 weeks with no answer. Calling not 2 but 3 different companies to finally talk to someone in charge of the bid out deal. They stated the " Roof issues do not appear to be an act of God, but we are willing to further investigate interior damages caused by said act."
Please consider doing your homework and not paying for substandard service. You will possibly be bid out to lowest bidder. Very slow.
No attempts at mitigating water damages. Blamed weather related damage to "Workmanship of roof installation company"
That was 7 years ago with no complications until storm.
Very nice on phones , but, no results....
Worst possible service...Do not always be blinded by the lowest costing insurance, for one day you may need help..It did not come from R J in this case.

I would recommend this company to no one they cancel your policy on your house and do not tell you and then when you call to see why they tell you they will call you back and you never get a callback and then they tell you that shepherds are vicious🤣 and try to tell you you have a business on your property which is a lie🙃 you will not know that your policy has been canceled until your home mortgage company calls to let you know just saying want to warn everybody
