Rainbow Glacier Adventures - Haines, Alaska

Having someone like Anna, who has lived in Haines, Alaska most of her life made for an excellent tour guide. She was able to relate facts about their livelihood (salmon fishing) and the economy of the town and region. Aiming to further please her customers, after seeing two bald eagles, a single brown bear, and a mama and her 3 bear cubs, she took us north of town to see mountain goats. And we got to drive under a very low rainbow!! Bonus!

She pointed out places to visit in the town and dropped us off wherever we wanted: she was very accommodating. We could not have been more pleased with this excursion.

Was on a Princess cruise and took an excursion Skagway in Focus Photography Tour. Our tour guide Christine took us on the off beaten path in Skagway. She is very knowledgeable tour guide with the area and photography. She even taught less experience photographers how to use their DSLR and phone camera in order to take great photos. I took many great pictures on this tour and they were one of my highlights on my trip. This tour was worth the money. I still cannot believe she has a grand kid! One lucky kid will have many amazing childhood photos.

Brolin was an amazing guide and super knowledgeable! He really knows the area and we went near Yukon trying to find a bear for a pic. We stopped at Tutshi lake which is absolutely breathtaking!!! And on our way back we even saw a pair of caribou crossing the road. I would definitely do the photography tour again as long as he was the guide.

My husband and I took a photography tour of Skagway and the surrounding area. Our guide, Brolin, provided us with a phenomenal experience, blending the area history and native culture with unique flora and fauna, not to mention, stunning views. We were mesmerized with everything the tour had to offer and learned so much! Our guide was patient and kind, always concerned with our safety and comfort as I was not as sure footed as others. The comfortable van, small group size, and unique knowledge of the area made this tour one of the best experiences of our vacation.

Joined the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve Rafting excursion in mid-September and had an amazing experience! Steve (our rafting guide) and Aly (guide and driver) were very friendly, extremely knowledgable and taught us quite a bit about the wildlife, terrain and the local Tlingit people. We saw an abundance of bald eagles of various ages (and learned about their very different appearances depending on age) and a host of other wildlife. Steve deftly guided the raft such that we had amazing opportunities to appreciate the wildlife and photograph the eagles. HIGHLY recommended - this is an incredible way to experience Haines' natural beauty with a fun rafting team!

This was an amazing tour! We saw all the wildlife we hoped for and more. The scenery was gorgeous! The tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. A definite must!!

I joined this company for a shore excursion on August 29, 2023. Paul was the guide. He took us to the ghost town of Dyea and we saw a good number of bald eagles there. Unfortunately we didn’t have long telephoto lenses so could not capture them well. Then we stopped at a gorgeous fjord and then he took us into the forest where we were delighted to find exotic mushrooms. There was that famous poisonous red mushroom I never thought I’d ever see as well as a lot of other kinds. Paul provided some photography tips and was a very good guide.
