Art was an amazing tour guide. He gave us a lot of local history, he was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to tailor our tour to what we wanted to do. We saw a black bear, multiple bald eagles and a waterfall. He showed us what berries were edible and took us to a totem park. Overall it was an excellent and very personlized tour. I would highly recommend this tour.

I don’t typically do reviews, but our day with Art deserves it. He was amazing and so incredibly knowledgeable about the local area. Me and my family had a blast. My hard to please kids (14) and (12) were raving about how much fun they had. I couldn’t get them to stop talking about it. On the next day, we took a tour in Juneau and my kids said, “this trip is going to be lame because Art isn’t leading it.” Do this tour. It’s incredibly fun and informative.

I want to thank Art for taking all 6 of us "on". We signed up for this tour while our Holland America cruise ship was in port in Ketchikan. Art told us where to meet him, and we connected and met up. There was no problem with communication with him

Art has lived in Ketchikan for many years and knows all the places to see. We saw things not on the cruise ship tour--we saw Totems, water falls, and other pretty things to look at. His stories were great--informative and personal. It never felt scripted and we were comfortable the whole time we were with him--like a close associate/friend.

He explained so many things. I don't want to give away secrets. But if you take a tour with him, you should enjoy yourselves. You can put 6 people in the van--we did it--but it was a bit tight as we are bigger people. If you are family and have kids, 6 would fit just fine.

Art is very knowledgeable, personal and friendly. He is a native and does a great job of sharing interesting facts. The tour is designed around what you want to see and experience. He picks you up at the ship and brings you back to the ship, no long shuttle lines. Book! Don’t miss out.

Art was a great tour guide while we visited Ketchikan on a cruise. I booked him blindly in advance of our visit. I am so glad I did!! His van was immaculate, he had snacks and drinks and took us where we asked and then some. He knows all the secrets and local places to go. We ended up extending our planned time with him and it was wonderful. He will teach you about the local berries, totems, and bears. We missed seeing bears but a great day touring. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My sister found RDT via Google ahead of our cruise, which made a stop in Ketchikan. So glad to have gone with this tour! Art was super easy-going and knowledgeable, and taught us (six family members) a lot! We saw bears and a (single) salmon, tried some spruce tip and kelp, found some cool random things on the beach, and had a totem tour. Would definitely use RDT and Art for future stops here! PS…he rolls in a nice new mini van as well!

I, along with my 2 daughters and sons-in-law, were SO lucky to have Art take us on a wonderful tour of Ketchikan and its surroundings! As an Alaskan native, Art was not only likable and knowledgeable, he was funny and gave us the best recommendation for a delicious meal at Annabelle's! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the tour with Rainy Day Tours! Thank you, Art and Garri! You made our trip to Alaska a lifelong happy memory!
