Stayed in the Owl's Nest cabin. A combination of modern comfort and rustic. Welcoming hosts. Beautiful location in a thick mostly oak forest with easy to follow trails and bird watching locations. A flock of wild turkey were out front of the Owl's nest every morning and evening. And, even with the almost-full moon, the starlit sky was beautiful. Would definitely go again.

We just spent 2 nights in the Relaxing Cowboy Cabin & had a wonderful time! Everything was very clean & extremely comfortable. We especially loved all the wildlife - from flocks of wild turkeys to white tailed deer that came by for a drink just outside our door! There were also hummingbird and other bird feeders everywhere that brought in a great variety of birds! We’ve already decided to stay there again!

Beautiful location. The bird watching right outside the front door was magical. We saw a many turkeys, dozens of hummingbirds, deer, woodpeckers and other birds (mostly there for the hummies). Almost better than Ramsey Canyon itself and that is saying a lot. The cabin was in perfect condition. The hosts were very nice, responsive and super helpful. Top notch!

Wonderful environment to connect with nature! The trails on the property have places where you can and sit and enjoy watching birds and other wildlife that also make this their home. Our cabin was very clean, kitchen has everything needed to make meals. Beds are very comfy. Loved the privacy from our front porch where we were entertained by a multitude of Hummingbirds, deer and Turkeys!

We had the most wonderful time at the Hummingbird Cabin. There were 4 of us (late Oct) and it was just the perfect size at the perfect location. The property is amazing, we never had to leave to see all the amazing birds in the area. We did hike up Ramsey Canyon which is within walking distance of the cabin. We actually saw more birds and wildlife at the cabin then in the canyon (but we did spot the Elegant Trogon in the canyon)! Without leaving the front porch (or the front kitchen window) we watched Rivoli, Annas, Broad Billed, Violet Crowned, Rufus, white eared, and calliope hummingbirds! The bird viewing area is steps away from the cabin and we spotted Coopers Hawks, Acorn woodpeckers, lots of wild turkey, bridled titmouse, pygmy nuthatch, yellow rumped warbler, White breasted nuthatch, lots of lesser goldfinches, painted redstart, Hepatic Tanager. We will be back, the value is not comparable to anything I’ve experienced. Jen and Greg were amazing and attentive. Anything you need they are quick to respond. We ordered a firepit at the last minute and it was there immediately. Greg is a wealth of information about the area and we truly enjoyed talking with him and learning about the wildlife and area. Next time we need 3 nights not 2, there is just too much to do in the area! I will miss the turkeys greeting us every morning!

We were day visitors, there to enjoy the grounds. There are many bird feeders that attract a huge variety of birds, including many of the rare species that visit the southeastern Arizona "sky Islands." There is one main birding area that is quiet and shady and has lots of comfortable chairs. A lovely trail runs down to the creek and along it, with chairs and benches situated along the way. The owners introduced themselves and gave us some excellent birding tips.
It's a great place for a day visit, whether or not you are a birder. Highly recommended.

Absolutely charming! I stayed in the cozy owl's nest studio and feel completely regenerated. Jen and Greg took great care of me. Don't forget to do the property tour will Jen. A true hidden gem!

I rented the owl's nest and it was as described -- a cozy room with a comfortable bed. The cabins are in a really tranquil spot. The trails were nice to walk in the morning. Ramsey Canyon Preserve is a short (maybe 10 minute) walk, with orioles singing along the road up to the preserve. The owners were extremely helpful and gave helpful advice for other places in the area to go bird watching.
