RSC is a delightful, historic dude ranch set in the Santa Cruz, County desert of Arizona. We were there to celebrate a dear friend's birthday, and we had our run of the facility. The week we visited, we saw a massive heat wave, but all of the facilities were very comfortable. The owner and breakfast cook, Josh, made outstanding breakfasts during our stay. ||The Rancho is historic, there are no TVs in the sleeping areas, and that was fantastic. It pushed everyone into face to face conversations and and encouraged more outdoor activities. ||Each room and each lounge is uniquely decorated with both local antiques and worldly fixtures. We spent most of our time around the inviting pool area. There are 2 large outdoor cats that are friendly but not intrusive. ||We are already planning our return for next year to this magical place.

With luck I discovered this place as I was going to be in Southern Arizona to do dental work in Nogales Mexico. It was a quick drive to the border. And an easier drive to Tubac and all the art galleries!||But I loved the place and loved the owners and want to come back when it's a bit cooler so I can explore the hiking nearby. I'm already planning to come back next year just for fun!||The room was comfortable and the bed too! I loved the grounds and the pool. Breakfast every morning was delicious and I enjoyed visiting with Josh.||There are comfortable places everywhere to sit and the grounds are immaculate. Do not hesitate to stay here when you're in the area.

We booked Rancho Santa Cruz for a National Committee on Scouting Event: De Anza Trek. The venue was a huge hit for all who participated and those who volunteered. The Bed and Breakfast was utilized by several volunteers and participants while all others camped on their acreage behind the bed and breakfast. I can't say enough on the hospitality of Rancho Santa Cruz. I would highly recommend booking Rancho Santa Cruz for any type of event or just go and have a family get away. They were truly amazing that we asked to come back next year. For me and my husband we will be going back for a weekend just to get away.

Fantastic family weekend at Rancho Santa Cruz! Josh and Christina are gracious and friendly hosts. The buildings are exactly what you'd want from a restored southwestern ranch. The cantina and patios are perfect for an afternoon and evening with family. We're looking forward to staying again!

What an amazing piece of history and greenery only a little over an hour from Tucson!! Rancho Santa Cruz is a beautiful historic property less than 5 minutes off I-19.||The ranch is set up well for weddings or other get togethers, and has well appointed rooms, a pool, a dining area, a separate place for games/hanging out-and lots of private places to chill and read or bird watch!!||The hosts Josh and Christina made the experience seamless and enjoyable-and we had an amazing breakfast!! Highly recommended!!

So many reasons for birders to love this place. Breakfast was delicious. There were acres to roam with scenic trails to the Santa Cruz River with many species of flycatchers, tanagers, warblers, and wrens. The owners were gracious and welcoming as well as their friendly dogs and cats. We loved the historic adobe buildings with the western decor. It was like being in an Old West movie. We loved our stay.

Attractive traditional ranch style inn. Very clean and attentively maintained. Lots of birds on the beautiful property that backs up to the Anza Trail and the Santa Cruz River. A generous length of riverfront and trails readily accessible on foot from the ranch. Breakfasts were fabulous – fruit, delicious eggs, sausage or bacon, yummy potatoes and toast. Owner/host Josh was great fun. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property with rooms opening right onto long covered porch with benches to sit and listen to birds…overlooking a grassy large courtyard. Josh is your friendly, easy going host who has a great smile and makes everyone welcome. And boy can he make a great breakfast in the separate kitchen overlooking the pool! Close to places to eat, Tubac art community, trail for walking and birding. Just finished 2 days there. Highly recommend.
