When we arrived at the red roof in around 730 p.m. We were able to get a room for the whole weekend. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly. The room was very clean, normally I have to clean the room. But I was very surprised at how clean the room was looking. Thank you for that! It was in a perfect location. Shopping centers are across and down the street. The only downfall was that I could smell weed from outside. I bought spray to suppress the smell. But overall, it is very quiet, I bought my own washcloths so I didn't need any service. We will definitely be back to visit! Thank you for all you do!

Firstly, set reasonable expectations for a motel of this type. It is not luxury. It is not fancy in any way. ZERO frills.

With that being said, our stay was EXCELLENT. We were in town for The Big E and so was everyone else - the hotel was packed. Thankfully, there is abundant parking and we got a spot right in front of our room. Check in was a breeze - in and out of the lobby in less than 5 minutes. The front desk staff were polite and efficient. Upon entering the room, it smelled very faintly of bleach, which is always a good sign! The room was clean (I’m the type that goes in and tears the bed apart looking for bed bugs before I even consider bringing my stuff in). The mattress was fully encased in a mattress protector plus a fitted sheet style mattress cover. Basic linens, as expected. Comfortable bed - I didn’t disturb my partner’s sleep getting up in the night. Toilet and shower in the bathroom with the sink and a very large vanity in the main part of the room, which was great with two of us getting ready at the same time. It was VERY quiet - no noise from any of our neighbors (ground floor room) - and didn’t hear anything until folks started coming out of their rooms to pack their cars in the morning.

I am not a novice traveler - I’ve been from Maine to Florida to California and lots of places in between and this was a solid stay.

The outside was deceiving. Could use a bit of an update. The room was spotless and I could smell bleach so it was definitley cleaned well. The bathroom could use better lighting especially if you have to put makeup on. Bed was comfortable. At door parking for first floor rooms which I like. The only problem we had was too many flies. The door sweep needed to be replaced so the flies were coming in like crazy.

Positive: It was older, but clean and fine for the one night we were there. Pretty much what we expected. Negative: The wifi connection didn't work in our room 240. The staff was fine, but didn't seem pleased that we booked there.

I had to move out of our home due to buying our new home. Wasn't ready so my family of 6 came to the Red Roof Inn of Enfield. Milin and staff have been very helpful with our transition to our new home. The rates are more than fair. This will be the place to stay at when we come back home to visit. Thank you Milin and your staff for taking great care of my family.

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would.

First of all the rooms can fit at least 4 people but they are charging $10 extra per person per night after two people.

Don’t ask for extra pillows. Only 2 are allowed per bed. You’ll get an attitude for asking for extra towels too.

Sometimes the outlets work in the room. Sometimes they don’t. Hit or miss.

There wasn’t a towel that I used that didn’t have at least one hair on it that wasn’t mine or anyone else in my party

No housekeeping on the weekends?! It was Friday. Plus the “weekends” are probably the busiest days of the week. We got an attitude when we went to the lobby to ask why our room hadn’t been cleaned after we were at the Big E all day. Because our room wasn’t cleaned we asked for additional towels and more toilet paper since we ran out that morning. They went to give me just one roll of toilet paper and I laughed at them.

Just don’t stay here. It’s not worth the aggravation.

Update: Started packing our car to leave the next morning and saw a member of the housekeeping staff. We explained to her what the front desk told us about no housekeeping on the weekends. She laughed and said that they lied to us.

Whenever our business needs to do work at the nearby 6 Flags, this is where we stay because it's clean, the price is great, and the management is excellent. We always receive great customer service, so it's easy to deal with reservations, including those that need to be changed at the last minute due to the nature of our work.
