I was hesitant and nervous about my upcoming stay as I had not stayed at a Red Roof Inn before and have had bad experiences with inexpensive hotels. But I was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and bug free which is my top priority! Bed was comfortable. Shower was ok. Water was fine but looked like it needed some repair work. Nothing that made me uneasy to use it. Bonus. - dogs are free! I was traveling with a dog and paying $50-75 extra for the dog makes for an expensive hotel bill. I generally don't like staying in motel style hotels. For some reason, not having the interior corridors make me uneasy, especially when traveling alone. But with the dog I was ok and it turns out being able to walk outside from my room to let her go to the bathroom was very convenient. Management was very friendly. Great couple! There's a great pizza place right around the corner (you can easily walk there). Can't remember the name but pizza was good and affordable.

It’s probably the best maintained Red Roof I’ve stayed in, and I’ve stayed in dozens all over the country. Right off the highway, with plenty of fast food, fast casual restaurants, and gas stations super close. The manager was extremely friendly. It’s not fancy, but it’s very clean, and not at all shabby like a lot of other Red Roof locations. And the price is right! Mini-fridge and microwave in the room. Free coffee during morning hours. Vending and ice machines actually work! I will gladly stay here again on my frequent road trips between NYC and Northwest Arkansas. I have no idea what attractions are around the area, but the location is perfect if you need a place to sleep during a long drive.

Very friendly staff that I have encountered. Older property but well maintained. Honestly was not expecting this nice of a room for the price. They seam to have an average weekly rate on Priceline of about 340 a week or about 48 dollar a night after tax. A great deal but was not expecting much. This is a great room for the price. Clean and comfortable. No real complaints I can think of.

We stayed there for 2 months. Loved it! The staff are wonderful. Housekeeping is very nice and friendly. They really make you feel welcome. This will always be my home in St. Clairsville.
Also they don't have a deposit when you check in so no extra expense at check in. They are also bug free!
They have great views in the fall and winter when the trees are bare if your room is in front.
Very quiet, though the doors and windows are a bit drafty, that is easily fixed with some blankets at the foot of the door and around the window.
Thank you guys for making our 2 month stay a very pleasant one. Hope you all are doing well.

Great value for your money hotel. Clean rooms. Decent size. Helpful, friendly staff. Our TV didn't work so they moved us to another room right away. No problems. Comfy beds. Good location. Love that they had fridge in room. Outside looked well kept.

Positive: cost of room Negative: room temperature was at 50 and it took several to warm up on a cold 23 degree day. Also, I had stayed here before and the room usually had a one cup coffee maker, but on this day.
