For the price, this is a great place. It's a little dated. It's clean where it counts. The walls could use a good scrubbing or a paint job. The pillows are not great. Bring your own.

I am going to start with a motel that is only as good as the bed. The room we were in, number 24, had very worn out and saggy beds. To the point where sleeping on them was agony.

The rest of the room was clean. The water pressure was fantastic and plentiful. The soap and shampoo are generic, but they gave several. There was no conditioner but not a big deal. They provided tons of towels. Enough for four people. The towels are towels, unsoftened, basic towels that do a great job drying your skin.

A small fridge with a freezer and microwave were in the room. The ac worked well. The room was small but it worked.

The location is close to the Bodie turn off and close to fishing. Don't expect breakfast before 6:30 am when the bakery opens, or full breakfast when the hotel up the street opens. The town has seen better days and seems to be slowly fading, pushed by the pandemic.

Look, it is a small motor hotel that has polite owners who accept pets. If you want the Hilton or Marriott, keep driving. If you want a clean room and love extra soft beds, try it out.

Cute place. Rooms had a country motif. The steps were steep, The windows were painted shut so the only ventilation was to open the front door, The bathtub didn't have anything to keep you from slipping... otherwise I had a good time there. The city itself didn't have much to offer either and the streets rolled up at 8pm ?

My family and I stayed in the family room (2 queens). The room was perfect and clean! Plenty of accommodations and the price was just right! I also thought the three pockets near the electrical outlet was smart! The location is within walking distance to food stops and fun stores.

I got a room here at Redwood Motel in spite of some negative reviews... I want to put out there about my experience. The service was excellent. The room was very clean And
Very cozy at that.
It has a refrigerator. microwave coffee pot I really enjoyed my stay.
I will come back again!! Come stay at Redwood motel. You won't be disappointed.

Stayed here 5/28, and it exceeded expectations, especially for the price. Room was cozy with all needed amenities, great hot water and water pressure in the shower, and very friendly desk staff. Plus the property just looks cool and funky...and is in walking distance to the best carne asada fries on the entire planet!!
10 out of 10, would definitely recommend, would definitely stay here again!
